Woodmont Golf & Country Club

Very nice course and friendly staff. I played late to get a deal. The course had aeration on the greens, which were very slow and bumpy. The course was very wet and cart path only, which slowed play. It looked like the greens had not been cut in 2-3 days. When I have played this course before after aeration, the greens had been rolled and were putting fairly smoothly, but not this time.

No marshall to be found on back nine- 6 hour round on a Tuesday

Despite the soggy conditions and aerated greens, found the course playable enough. Hope the spring and a good maintenance staff can bring this great course back to life.

Our foursome really had a good time. The pace of play was good. Considering it had rained for almost two weeks and the course had only had two days to dry out before we went, the course was in good condition. It is winter so the fairways are brown, which makes it hard to find your ball, even in the fairway, so that was the only small negative. Layout is good. It would probably be considered easy for the low handicapper, but we found it challenging. Not too difficult though, so we were able to score well on more than one or two holes. We will be back.

Like course still find it pricy for winter conditions. Range ball expensive. For that money should include them.

Excellent facilities. Pro shop courteous. One of my favorite courses in the area.

Have played Woodmont several times. It is always in good shape. Greens aren't perfect, but they are always very good and reasonably quick. Tee to green, the course is in great shape right now. Always a great value for the money.

Great challenging course. Good luck finding a flat lay off the tee box. Definitely will be returning at some point.

Range balls are a rip - $6 for about 30 balls. Course is great conditions - first few greens are a bit bare in spots. Very challenging fairways and bunkers. Relax and enjoy the golf!

I had not played this course in a number of years and had forgotten how challenging it is. The greens had been punched recently, but the overall course was in very good condition. Me and my partner had the course almost to ourselves, I assume due to the greens. That made for an even more enjoyable afternoon. We played the Jones tees (mix of white and blue) and that was plenty of yardage. The only complaint I had was the golf cart started running out of juice on #15 and we had to push it up most of the hills the rest of the way in. But that didn't deter us from having a great time on a great course.

I have played out here many times but not this summer. I saw a recent comment that the greens were in "rough shape" etc but I got a great deal so I went even despite the negative review. Once I played Woodmont it started to blow my mind just wondering how anyone could perceive this course as being anything other than fantastic. You won't find better bentgrass greens in the Atlanta area, especially on a public course. The rest of the course is beautiful and well maintained as well. It's the best I've ever seen this place and it's always well worth the money. Fix yo ball marks doe!

The summer heat and a lack of attention to some maintenance items to spruce up the planting beds would go a long way towards making this place a top notch place to play. Bunkers need to be raked more thoroughly as many had rough spots in them. This place gets a lot of play and every one needs to fix at least two ball marks in each green. Too many scars on the green from poor attention by the players.

Greens in rough shape. Staff in disarray. Starter was very rude.

Best public course I've played in Georgia. Love this course. I wish the morning time were cheaper so I don't have to play after 3pm but never the less a great course for all levels. Playing again this weekend.

Fairways and greens were in near perfect shape. The only criticism I would have is their practice area needs some work. Not a lot of grass for range balls. This is a great golf course and I always enjoy playing it.

This is one of the best semi-private courses in the area. Greens and fairways were lush and maintained. Challenging layout and plenty of risk reward.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course is fairly wide in most spots but bery challenging. I will go back and paly here again.
