On the 14th tee. Kind of a blind drive over a hill. Fun hole. Photo submitted by u000006907181 on 06/28/2019

Golfer Reviews
Great golf course
I reserved an early tee time and got to begin my round 30 minutes earlier than that bc of how slow it was this particular morning, and was able to really take my time and enjoy each hole. One of the owners, Bobby, came out and played a few holes with me and offered some tips which I welcomed. Definitely my go to course for the price, staff, owners, and the variety each hole brings.
Great Value
Surprisingly good for the price. Staff was relatively good but not exceptionally friendly. We played on a day with some rain but all things considered the condition was good. Fairways were sometimes hard to differentiate visually but I chalk that up to the time of year. Pace of play was also nice, wasn't busy so I rarely saw other golfers.
Hidden jewel
Country land continues to improve. Upgrades to clubhouse and golf carts continue to demonstrate owners intent to remain a valuable community asset. Slight amount of poe anna on some of the greens but last year’s attention to detail will bring this year’s greens to be the best in years. Winter conditions exist but course is in good shape. One of these days attention will be made to improve the cary paths so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Enjoyed playing there and will be back.
Rock Greens
The greens were in terrible shape. If they took the time to weed the greens instead of removing 85% of the fallen leaves from OB then it would be worth the $40. With the shape of the course its max $25
Overall good course, but slow play on back nine.
Scenic in Fall, all holes are different, not long but shot making required, hilly but walkable, fun course to play.
Slow round with balls flying in all directions
Hadn't visited Country Land in 20+ years. Still a frustrating experience. Smalls green that are hard as cement. Balls from other fairways flying at us regularly. Miss a green by two feet and you could find yourself 20-30 down a hill, and 50 feet away. Staff were very nice and pleasant to deal with. I'll probably pay the premiums that my local courses charge in the future though.
