Country Land Golf Course

There came up a big thunderstorm yesterday ; so we were not able to play.

This course is way over priced for its condition. It’s the worst course around the north east part of GA and they charge the same as other corses around. The only reason why I played the course is because my buddy wanted to. I tried to tell him the course is terrible but he wanted to try it out.

Course. Short but challenging. Cart paths and erosion control extremely poor

The course condition was not good, but was passable.

They do not have a driving range.

The layout was OK in places, but there are at least several holes that are either extremely poorly thought out, or they had to find a way to force into the available real estate.

I would play there again if I could play for under $50, including taxes, and fees.

It’s not completely manicured but it’s also not $100 a round. No driving range(anymore), but like I mentioned you’re not coming here to practice for the US Open. It’s a great shorter course for guys who enjoy the game without the need to stress over every detail. Good time all around. If you’re looking for a fun 18 this is a wonderful opportunity to waste a few hours. If you nitpick go somewhere else.

The greens were in good shape, but that’s the only positive thing I can say about this course. The tee boxes were awful and the fairways weren’t much better. For a Hot Deal this place is priced appropriately.

For a fully public course, the greens are in amazing condition. They are way better than most of the semi private and private courses around the area. They’re way better than any public courses around. The fairways are in really nice shape. The only drawbacks with this course is a little bit of a funky layout. The golf cart paths are in pretty rough shape. It makes for a bumpy ride. And the pace of play is always to me a little bit slow. I think the the Rangers and the course Marshall can do a better job of moving people along. Little too much waiting. A little too much lollygagging with some of the golfers in front of you. There ar a lot younger people playing here so they don’t want to move on very fast. But the course conditions are really really nice for a public course.

I live near Country Land and love going up there for a solid round of golf. Course is pretty nice besides the tee-boxes needing some love. Greens look great and there are not too many hazards to navigate. Great place to work on short game and wedges in a live round.

Some of the greens are still in bad shape made putting hard sine there are still grass not growing in spots on the greens. There has been some trouble with the golf carts that were assigned to us that did not want to go up the many hills on the course to the point of one of us having to get out of the cart and help by pulling on the cart to get up the hills. The latest problem wither the cart we had to switch on and off the cart several times just to get it to crank up and go.
