Country Land Golf Course

This is a goat track. No range. Would be fun if you could bring your own beer and play without a shirt.. but you can’t.

If you like variety this is it, hardly any level lies, some blind shots, tight fairways, beautiful views.

Tee boxes in need of some seed and fertilizer and the greens are in need of some love , close to being to a point of no return with black stuff looks like fungus. Golf course management might want to put extra time and money to save the greens .

Every time I play at country land, I feel like I have come home… They have the friendliest staff and best field workers have any golf course I know! the course is difficult, but extremely fun!

Played on 5/1/21. Every time I go to this course, I look forward to seeing the staff. They really make you feel welcome and want you to enjoy your round. Chris, the manager, provides outstanding service, and really turned this course around for the better. Thanks for all you do Chris, I know many people who speak highly of you.

Pace of play was very slow today. I understand there was a tournament in the morning, but dang it was a long round.

Overall, I love this course and would highly recommend it. I’ve been here over 100 times and it’s always fun. Tricky short course. Just be careful of golf balls being shanked from other holes.

Course is in very good condition, a couple of greens were punched and a couple of greens had not been mowed recently however 90% of the course was in great condition.

This course was a joke. Horrible conditions. Hardly any top soil /grass on this course. Greens were a joke as well. Might as well have used my 7 iron to putt.

The holes are jammed in way to close which means you have balls flying at you from all directions almost every hole.

The staff was super friendly and fun, but I’ll never go back to this course, if that’s what it’s called.

Tough course with steep elevations. Greens are terrible with no grass to speak of; just patches of sand and poa annual..Fairways are well maintained and cut short adding to the difficulty with all the steep grades.

But greens are annoyingly bad - no true rolls on these greens - too bumpy. Have played here a aone or two times every year for many years but greens have been on a slow downhill slide each year. A popular course for the local teenage crowd to play. Probably won't bother doing this one again.

A short, very hilly Golf course that isn’t kind to a long-ball player. Not far from 400 and a very friendly hometown feel. A tough little course.

Course is in need of some TLC, greens are bad on some holes and okay on others. Course is very short and due to some holes running back and forth a danger of being hit presents itself. Overall the views are good and the price is good, don’t expect a manicured course though.

Besides being a challenging course with great views, this is the best run and friendliest golf course in our area

Extremely friendly staff. First 3 holes were rather slow moving, but opened up pretty well after that. The course is well maintained, considering all the rain we’ve been getting recently in the area. Very enjoyable day of golf for me.
