Great course for practice

I’m new to golf and need a place that I can get some rounds in that is not super expensive. Country land is the perfect place for that. The people are also really nice And it really can’t be the price.

Country Land is always last case scenario

You literally need to wear a helmet to play here. It’s so tight in some spots and the talent of players is so low, that you actually should wear a helmet. Country Land is my ultimate fallback if I’m trying to play. I would carve a course out of a desert before playing here. It’s fine, but man it’s a downer when you have to settle for CL. The greens suck, the tee boxes suck, and the pace is usually awful. They let too many people on the course at once. If you’re playing here, Echelon, Hampton Village, Callahan, and Hamilton Mill must’ve all been booked up, and I pray for you.

Great Value

Coarse was in great shape with the exception of the greens. They were aerated a few weeks ago and still filling in.

Not worth the money right now

I know after COVID prices everywhere have skyrocketed, but to pay $50 for this course in its current shape is a travesty. I love this track when its in decent shape. But these are by far the worst greens and tee boxes in the north georgia area. Bunkers were good, fairways fine, but the greens are what cost the most strokes on a course. Crab grass, bumpy as all get out, bare spots and sometimes the ball will trickle past the hole and somehow end up 10-20 feet away. Water these things!

Greens are very bad and super slow pace

I heard great things about this course. But it was a total disappointment. The greens are in a very bad shape. We also called the Marshal in 2 occasions and he didn’t do anything. The overbooked the day and that’s not good for business. Layout was good and the view of the nature was great. Oder than that it was not a good course. Also it was no snack cart or ice for the carts.
