Layout
Nice course but with this being the first time playing it the layout was a little confusing. Great staff
The course was OK, but the layout is not great. You have to watch out for other golfers hitting into you. That happened at several holes we were at
Always excellent!
Can you beat the view anywhere in Georgia? And when greens are prepared, they are as good as River Pines. Tee boxes could use a little work - hard as a rock!
Good time
Course was booked nearly last min for 2. Not too crowded so we got to start early on. Friday. Groups kept up pace and greens were really good. Little heat stress on some of the fairways but nothing to complain about. Rough was a little deep requiring accurate tee shots.
I'd go back for a quick round.
Fun course
This is a great course with friendly staff as well as the other golfers playing. No one was upset about golfers hitting wrong fairways. Greens could use some attention but I can't wait to come back and play. Highly recommend
Fantastic value for money
Great value for the cost of a round. Fairways are in great shape, greens are solid, most tee boxes are fine. The layout of countryland is definitely not the best but not much control over that. Have played here for 6+ years and probably the best shape I’ve seen it in. Great staff and at least have nets to hit into before your round now.
Decent Hilly Course
Staff was friendly. No driving range, but practice nets available. Tee boxes and fairways are not pristine, but not the worst I've played. Greens also not perfect, but rolled pretty good. Conditions are what you should expect from a low budget course.
Unusually Slow
Pack of play was unusually slow for playing mid week.
Practice Course
The price to play was good, The cart paths were poorly labeled, Greens were brown and rough, Fairways were in good shape.
Not bad for the price
Overall it was a fun course! Greens and tee boxes were not the best but they were definitely playable. The layout has the fairways so close that we were dodging errant shots from other holes all day. We had balls land within 30 feet of us on 2 different tee boxes. The clubhouse is nice enough but be aware that there's no driving range.
An affordable and a perfectly challenging course
With its narrower and hillier than normal fairways and smaller but well maintained greens the course gives a great challenging round of golf. I use it regularly for practice and fun, because when playing the wide and flat courses...they feel very easy :-)
