Great course
Course was in great shape. This was previously part of club Corp. It shows that new owners are investing in the club, staff, etc.
Member for a Day
The member for a day is a good deal. Tees ok, but fairways and greens are in great shape. Interesting variety of holes. Staff is nice. Will play it again.
Chapel Hills
Pace was great and the course is in excellent shape, as always. The staff is always a pleasure to interact with, and this time was no different.
Bring a group and plan a whole day.
Bio 29 yr BM 11 Handicap
The pace of play is slow, like 6-7 hours slow. I’m a four hour pace of play player or faster and when I caught up to the group in front of me and they were laying down on the tee box waiting for the group in front of them in the fairway who were waiting on the group on the green, I had to stop early, which was a shame because the course was nice! Tee boxes were typical Georgia worn out, fairways were good, but the greens…oh the greens were perfect. I’ve never mad so many birdie putts. Felt good to read a green, hit the ball and watch my ball smoothly roll and not look like a tire going down a street in Atlanta.
I’d come back, but definitely going to bring a four some so the waiting time doesn’t suck as much.
Chapel Hills - Nice!
Played as a single on a Sat afternoon. Pace was great on the front nine but slowed up on the back. Greens were in great shape; pretty short but fun. Really enjoyed it and will look into membership.
Not Worth
Unbelievably slow pace. Coming from East Atlanta is certainly wasn’t worth the drive or price. I’d compare to a Heritage in Tucker for reference.
Nice Course To Play
Course was enjoyable to play went during the week (Wednesday) the course appears to be going through some renovations. The sand bunkers are extremely thin but I did see that they are working on them. The clubhouse staff was friendly and the clubhouse was well maintained. Would have liked if a cart attendant was working during my round due to the temperatures but they did have water coolers spread throughout the course. I will definitely recommend this course.
Lots of bang for your buck
Course and range was in phenomenal shape, pace of play was perfect and the staff was friendly and helpful. Got a Saturday tee time for $55 and it included range and tees. Would pay $75 to play this course and still be very happy. Without spending over $100 it's going to be hard to beat a round of golf here.
Nice walk in the park
I checked in as Golfnow player and all staff was very friendly. Fairways and green in very good condition
Thank you for a great walk in the park
Nice course. Bunkers not so nice
The actual course was In great condition. Some of the bunkers were in bad shape.but appear to be under repair. Also some of the tee boxes were mostly dirt.
WORTH THE DRIVE! (I live 45 minutes away)
I finally made the drive out this way i usually never drive west of atlanta to play. Hoping this course stays on GolfNow for a while so I can return. The greens were Aerated the beginning of the month and were nice but still a tad slow, the back 9 were a lot better.
Some of the bunkers were missing sand. The pace of play was fantastic and the staff were all incredibly friendly. All of the other reviews about this course are for sure legit.
This course is going to be really good one day but I would not call it perfect yet.
Best course south of Atlanta
Chapel Hill Golf Course is one of the best golf course south of Atlanta. The layout is great. The greens are in excellent condition. The fairways are in great shape and the views are wonderful. There are some challenging holes and some scoring holes. Don’t let the course distance fool you. You will use every club in your bag. If you ever have a chance to play this course, you will enjoy a great round of golf. Once, you finish your round, enjoy the great food and friendly hospitality in the clubhouse overlooking the lake at the 9th and 18th hole.
