West Pines Golf Club

West Pines has some of the best greens in the area. The fairways are also in much better shape than a lot of courses that charge twice as much. Some very challenging holes, overall very fair but with a few quirky holes. I have played here many times over the years and continue to play because it is consistently in good shape. Pace can be a little slow some days but that's the case at most courses. I'll be back.

This course is in fantastic shape. The greens are fast and roll true. This place has public course pricing with private course conditions.

I will definitely be back. For the price, this course was in unbelievable shape and very enjoyable. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in excellent condition.

My buddy and I had the day off of work and decided to play here for the first time. This is a great course that’s not too far from the city. This is a great value course that is in great conditions for early summer. The staff are super friendly and made accommodations for us. The carts are like brand new with gps and Bluetooth. There was ice water out on the course and a drink/snack cart driving around. I definitely will be back to West Pines!

The course is in excellent condition. The only things keeping it from being perfect are the the bumpy cart paths. Enjoy your round.

Weather great and course in very good shape. Greens little sandy but rolled true, fast and firm. Only knock is bunkers need better sand. They were clay or hard pack sand. Otherwise great shape and will definitely play again

I enjoy the course. However, Some bunkers low on sand. Driving range balls too close to back fairway. Some areas need bare spots repaired.

Started playing out here a little over a year ago after coming across it on Golfnow. For me, it was such a hidden gem! Great shape, great price. This year the course has gotten very, very firm however. Some of the fairways have gotten a little wonky to hit because everything runs out so much, and the greens are also very firm. Not the worst thing ofd course, but it used to play a little better IMO when it wasn't so firm. Great course overall!

Fast greens. Brick like texture. Fairways filled with dying goose grass. Not a level lie anywhere on this course. Spent more $ on fixing up the clubhouse than the grass.

Course in greatest shape in a while. Cut pretty tight greens were rolling fast. Nice tee time price and very pleasant round.

West Pines' layout will NOT blow you away. The greens, friendly staff, and price will though. I had a friend in town from Charlotte that I brought to play West Pines. He was VERY impressed. The starter (David) was friendly, range serviceable, and greens FAST. He couldn't believe it was $55 on a weekend. Our group DBT (Drunk By the Turn) will keep West Pines in our "rotation!"

I’ve played this course many times and it’s a great value and well maintained. If I had to choose one thing to critique it would be the some of the tee boxes need some TLC.

The course is in great shape, and the medium fast greens roll well. The course gets a lot of play, so it's packed. Unfortunately, that means you're lucky to finish your round in less than 4 1/2 hours. They could use rangers on the course to speed up play. Otherwise, it's a good golf experience and well worth the drive to Douglasville.
