West Pines Golf Club

Four of us had a 3:15 tee time. Once we teed off, one person came behind us. We let him play thru. By the second hole we waited over an hour as five singles came up behind us. Very unprofessional sending off six singles behind a group of 4. Though we paid for 18 holes, we only played 9 because it was 6 by then.

You need to be able to read these greens to make putts at a high percentage to score Low.

Tough course for a first timer with several holes with penalty areas are not visible from the tee box. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Tee boxes were a little rough in spots. Adding hole signs to the tee boxes would be useful, especially in areas where multiple holes converge.

Very challenging even from the whites. They had sanded the greens but they still rolled true and faster than I thought. It’s a hilly course that you need to be in great shape to walk. Staff was super friendly. My wife left her 7 iron in the range and didn’t realize it until hole 5. She called the pro shop and they brought it out. Great customer service. Would play it again if we are out that way.

Fast greens, fairways starting to green up, rough still sparse from winter. Hard to gauge effective yardage to cross hazards with no rough and large elevation changes - always easier to navigate second time around. Fun round!

course is looking great, the fairways, greens and sand traps. keep up the good work. Please keep your prices reasonable.

I liked it so much I played 32. I would have played 36 but the sun was setting and couldn’t see the ball. Pace of play is decent, if you are a ready golfer and don’t like waiting be patient, the pace picks up. The golf pros in the shop and the staff are friendly. Course conditions were great the course drains well and the greens are fast. I would recommend this course and plan to play again. Hopefully 36 next time.

The course is in good shape as the fairways are "greening up". Greens remain medium fast but are firm on approach shots. Going over the back of most greens is a problem.

Greens are great tee boxes are perfect and the cart path is not all torn up!!! I’ve played here about 6 times and I would recommend this course to anyone.

This course has came a long way and the greens are absolutely pure right now and only going to improve on into the summer time.

Greens are in the best condition vs. other local courses. Speed is medium fast. Our difficulty (very challenging) was reading the greens: putting for an expected break that didn't break, and likewise, putting for a straight line had unexpected breaks. Let's blame the grain!

Overall condition was excellent, especially for this time of the year. Well worth the trip to the "west" of Atlanta.
