WOW!!
The greens are almost perfect, the course is fair. Only blemish is to be able to use the cart GPS for keeping score or instruction on how to do so. Best value for dollar ANYWHERE!! (No I'm not cohabiting with any course owner or employee).
New outlay
I like the new bunkers and changes to the course. The greens are in excellent shape also. Always a pleasure to play here.
Best public course outside the city
You will not find a better course for a better price. Wall to wall, this course is in great shape. Can’t wait to play it again!
course is coming along
The fairways are in great shape. The greens were aerated 5-6 weeks ago and haven't completely grown in but they were in good shape and rolled true. Maybe another week or two and they will be perfect. The layout hasn't changed that much with the renovations, but the traps are in great shape. Nice to have real sand. The only negative was slow play. 5 hour round on a thursday.
We play here about 10 times a year and never had such a slow round.
The greens are immaculate
I reviewed this course yesterday. I played after the rain stopped today and the greens are perfect- true as can be. Please fix your divots and keep them rolling true.
All holes are open again
Always a great course for the $$. Kudos to the maintenance team for keeping the course in excellent shape. All 18 holes are open again and the new bunkers look great. Best value for your $$ in the area.
Greens and Bunkers are great
The renovations were well worth the wait. The greens were lightening quick today before the rain. Next weekend they will be pristine after all of the rain this week. It’s one of the better values for the money in metro Atlanta.
West Pines thumbs up
We were very happy with our round pf golf. The course was well maintained.it had an interesting layout. Several crossing creeks required smart club selection. Rolling hills made for a few blind shots. Fairways were excellent. Greens had been sanded, but were lightning fast and rolled true. Bunkers had good sand. Driving range and putting were available. Golf carts had nice GPS presentation, but were overly sensitive to be in “bad” places. Cart girl was readily accessible. No clubhouse food or beverage service was available, but there was a nice sitting area.
Nice Course
The course overall is in great shape. The greens were aerated about a month ago, so they are still a bit bumpy and uneven, making some putts go off line. The fairways are fantastic, almost perfect. I like the layout. The Blue Tees are all I can handle and then some at 6400 yards. My wife loves the ladies tee setup and doesn’t feel overwhelmed by the distances. If you play from the white tees, expect to not use your driver much. The inside staff if very friendly, the marshals, not so much.

With the recent redesign of the bunkers, the course is looking great.
The course is in excellent condition pace was good and rangers was very nice and got us on as schedule
