West Pines Golf Club

Decided to try and get a late round in with a friend. Booked same day as playing and we were paired with two singles. Carts come equipped with decent gps systems which is cool. The worst part of this course is pace of play but even that isn’t terrible lately. Plan for about a 5 hour round. Some of the holes shave a touch of a drive from green to next tee box..

They've done a fair amount of work on this course and it shows. Bunkers, tee boxes and fairways show signs of proper maintenance. There are the usual spots of issue but they’re working on getting it really nice. The greens are fantastic. They play really quick and as long as golfers do what they should regarding green care these roll true. Being sort of a “muni” it gets a lot of traffic out west. Have played it twice now in the last couple of months and have plans to play it more in 2025.

Always consistent conditions. Well maintained. Good pace of play most of the time. Greens are always fast. Lots of space for when you hit a bad shot. Staff are friendly. Driving range is new and although there are no grass tees it’s a great spot to warm up with lots of targets. Chipping and putting area. Layout is awesome. Absolutely love this course.

I played on a rather busy day so I’m not upset by the pace which was slightly slow. Being from Florida, playing a course with elevation was a treat and this one had some great drops and climbs. The first tee sets a great tone. If I have one gripe, it’s only about the layout of a couple of par fives. One of which is completely cut off from hitting driver. Otherwise. It had some really great par fours that were long and short. The greats were in good shape and the tee boxes were too. I would recommend it to anyone regardless of skill level. Very fair and forgiving but challenging if you take on the risk.

Weather was overcast, but the course was wide open. Great pace of play and the course was in good condition minus a couple of fairways. Loved the bang for the buck!

Needs more directions on course. GPS was helpful but didn't identify blind shots.

Super nice course for the money, cool layout and the course was in great condition. One of the best courses I've ever played for $65, will be playing again soon

Got a hot deal to play here Sunday at 11:50 for $50+fees. My playing partner ran out of gas and had a huge delay, the gentleman at the clubhouse was extremely polite and helpful in getting our time pushed back to accommodate.

The course conditions were excellent with immaculate fairways and just a couple sandy greens/tee boxes. Fairly easy course with many long, straight fairways, but that’s a positive in my book. Bunkers were cleanly raked and full.

I will be coming back again and again.

Another enjoyable round at West Pines. The newly upgraded driving range is awesome. I was a little upset that the greens had been lightly sanded but if anything it made them FASTER!
