West Pines Golf Club

This course is beautiful and the fairways are fantastic. It is also very peaceful being right outside of Atlanta and that is hard to do. 5 stars!

Was a very challenging course with step hills and VERY DEEP sand pits. Was definatley a challenge that I enjoyed. Playes 18 holes and will be back to do it again very soon.

Course was in real nice condition and you can see where the money is going into the course. Tee boxes were a little hard, but the parts that mattered were impressive. Greens were immaculate along with fairways and bunkers.

I’ve never seen the course look better. Bunkers are well maintained. Fairways were some of the nicest I’ve played all year. Greens were also in great shape. They seem like they’ve put off money into it.

The last time I played here they were in the process of putting a pipeline through it. There is little to no evidence of that now and the course was in great shape. I played on Sunday with 3 guys I hadn’t met. It was a great experience they were a joy to be with and the course played well. Challenging but fun. All areas are in good shape. We waited a short time on a few holes toward the end of the round as the group in front of us had a few issues but overall it was a great day and I would recommend this course highly

Good course overall. Don’t think it’s worth the $50 full price but still better than most in the area. Slow pace and the starter/ranger told us a 4.5 hour round was “on pace” there. Greens were somehow hard and slow. That made for some nice approach shots and putts. Would play again for the right price.

Only (minor) complaint is that the greens were a bit sandy and inconsistent. Other than that, good price point considering the course conditions and pace of play if you aren’t driving more than 30-45 minutes for the round.

Course was in good shape. Pace of play was excellent considering it was Saturday noon. Finished in 4 1/2 hours. Golf shop only had drinks and chips and candy. No hot food was available. Beverage cart was available throughout the 18 holes. Golf starter did a great job getting everyone off at the appropriate teetimes.

First off , upon arrival, looked to be be pretty clean and it was all around clean! Driving range for a few balls was a lil pricey, no biggie tho! Drive to the 1st tee and were are paired with a couple old gents, who hit senior tees , were playin the blues... the distance between the tips and us was quite a bit in length on some holes but for us and the seniors was unreal ... kinda sucked playin with seniors but they were good guys! Fairways were in good shape and definitely a huge amount of elevation from tee to green, made for some challenging blind shots 😳 Greens were nice , minus the pre-existing pin and cup locations, it was kinda like playing plinko as many times as the cups were changed .. really fast greens with some undulations made it a helluva time putting! Overall course rating was good , Id give it a 7 outta 10 easliy, it was beautiful out and great scenery ! If u want a challenge but not overwhelming, its a good track to play !
