West Pines Golf Club

First off , upon arrival, looked to be be pretty clean and it was all around clean! Driving range for a few balls was a lil pricey, no biggie tho! Drive to the 1st tee and were are paired with a couple old gents, who hit senior tees , were playin the blues... the distance between the tips and us was quite a bit in length on some holes but for us and the seniors was unreal ... kinda sucked playin with seniors but they were good guys! Fairways were in good shape and definitely a huge amount of elevation from tee to green, made for some challenging blind shots 😳 Greens were nice , minus the pre-existing pin and cup locations, it was kinda like playing plinko as many times as the cups were changed .. really fast greens with some undulations made it a helluva time putting! Overall course rating was good , Id give it a 7 outta 10 easliy, it was beautiful out and great scenery ! If u want a challenge but not overwhelming, its a good track to play !

This course was fun. There’s GPS in the carts, course is challenging but fun, great layout, and fast greens. Most of the staff was friendly. Pace of play was good, it slowed down on the back nine. Don’t expect a glizzy at the turn cause 9 doesn’t stop at the clubhouse. Really fun course, will be back for sure.

Very enjoyable course. Most bunkers well maintained. Greens mostly on the fast side, fair and challenging. Pace was fine today even with 5 hole CPO. Looking forward to next visit.

Played here on 3/31. Inside staff and starter were very friendly and courteous .Course conditions for a March were OK. The greens were nice and really rolling good.Price is reasonable and very convenient in Douglasville.

The course is in very good shape. The fairways are greening up and the greens are rolling well. The only downside was the wind at 15-20 mph!

Cart path only on every hole even though it was dry?

West Pines is a good value and fun layout to play. The greens were running true with good speed. Work was being done on the par 5 8th hole but I think most golfers will appreciate it when it’s complete.

The course is in good shape for this time of the year. Fairways are still dormant, but once they start growing, the course will be great.

The carts are pretty frustrating. I can be riding along on the cart path and will get a message on the cart screen to return to the cart path. It'll shut down the cart and I can only go in reverse. Keep in mind all this is happening on the cart path. I had to back up on the cart path and drive off the cart path in order to continue to the next tee. I suggest they look into where they have the limits of the cart set and make adjustments. This wastes time.

Course poorly spaced out their tee times and allowed multiple single/duo golfers to play behind multiple foursomes. Ranger came up and told us to pick up pace of play because we were apparently holding up the course. There were multiple groups in front of us and we were playing at a normal/ahead of pace. The course needs to be better at scheduling and identifying where the issue is with pace of play. Second time I have had an issue here and was not impressed with staff and condition of course.

Narrow fairways. Not my favorite. But Great greens.

We had pleasant day. Winter ATL Golf and sunshine. A little bit slow. Greens hard Flags and holes a bit bizzare with almost angles. Had a good time.
