About
Chicopee Woods Golf Course is a public, 27-hole layout in Gainesville. The course is tucked amongst the Appalachian foothills, giving it a scenic terrain of rolling hills. The holes are divided into three nines: the Village, the Mill, and the School, that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. Five sets of tees provide even more variety. The Village nine is the longest of the three and it's also the driest. There is only a small lake beside the second hole. That doesn't mean the golf course isn't challenging though, you'll still face several strategically placed bunkers. There are a few scattered trees but the course is mostly open and offers some room for error. In addition to the 27 holes, Chicopee Woods G.C. also has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

Solid Course
All three courses in great shape. Really like the different challenges from one course to the other. Mill has a lot of shorter hole presenting birdie opportunities along with the long 232yd par three. Lots of fun.
Very Pleasant
Had a horrible start to my day. Not talking about my round, I was extremely late to my tee time. I reached out to the clubhouse and they were very accommodating. Was able to be paired with a regular at this course and had an amazing time. Pace of play was great, greens were in outstanding shape, and what impressed me most was the fairways. For the money overall, fantastic course. I will be playing a lot more here. Great service as well. Thanks fellas.

Great course conditions, greens were quite slow, great weather to play, paired me up with three great guy’s to play with, enjoyed my round,. I will be back.
Great Condition
I have played this course for years, and this was the best condition I've seen it in.
Beautiful Course, Slow Play
Couldn’t play all 18. Due to some rain and a tournament and slow play we had to wait 25 mins at some of the tee boxes before we could tee off. Staff did the best they could. We paid a lot of money and only were able to get in 15 holes, almost 5.5 hours before we gave up and returned to the clubhouse.
Best bang for buck
Chicopee is by far best value course in northern Atlanta area. While prices jumped up a bit this year, the course is always in great condition. All 3 9 hole set ups are great. Like every course nowadays, hard to get through a round in under 4 hours. 4:20 was our round. Backed up and waiting on tee box on most holes.

I was soooo please they finally put some new young friendly guys to run this golf course! Starter and pretty much everyone was amazing! Keep up the good work! Golf is great again!
