Fairways are in great shape and the greens should be at 100% within a week or so

Great Value
Course was in good shape. It was dry considering the rain we've had over the past week. Greens were ok, with some repairs in works on some holes. Course is very forgiving. Open fairways. Not many dog legs. Not much water. Not a whole lot of sand. I played as a single for all 18 on a Saturday. Speed of play was good. Played through a foursome 2x. Really enjoyed my outing. Also, the girl working the proshop was very friendly and educated me on the course, inckuding the amenities and layout. Driving range was very affordable as well as food and beverages. Will be returning soon even though it is a bit of a drive. Only critique would be add water coolers on the course and GPS to carts.

Greens
They working real hard on the greens and getting them back a great condition. This is one of my favorite course, not just because of the value but the staff is great and I like the layout of the course

Played as a single in under three hours. Without exception everyone let me play through. Greens are damaged in some spots with repairs underway. Where greens were intact they were in excellent shape. Fairways were in fine condition. Staff was very friendly. Very enjoyable round. Best price/value in greater Augusta area.

Time to redo greens
Applewood has always been the course to play when it’s wet. Now they are restoring the greens with new sod in places. Got a $5 discount for next round.

Add grass to greens
The greens are in terrible shape and are being repaired. But until they are lower the price per round ,and more importantly put something on the website and golfnow before you take the extra traffic that comes this time of year.

Maintenance on the course
Holes 9 and 18 were closed when we played. Pro shop let us know when we checked in. Staff couldn’t be friendlier, outstanding customer service. A couple of greens had spots that were ground under repaid and were unputtable. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape. Played there many times and will definitely be back
