Applewood Golf Course

Applewood offers the casual golfer holes of various difficulty, but most are wide open and bad shots are easily recovered from, making for few of any lost balls. Stay for the back nine and bomb it down number 11. Very fun and affordable course in the Augusta, GA area. 10/10 would recommend

I enjoy how friendly was the staff. The field was in a good shape. The green was ok in most holes. I judt noticed too many ants mounts and that made it somewhat uncomfortable when getting ready for your shot. In overall it was good value.

Got to play this course on Easter and it was not crowded, the Yamaha gas powered carts are pretty new and have plenty of power! Played from the Blue tees and since it was our first time we did not really know how the holes went as there is no drawing on the score card or layout on the tee box. No big deal on the par 3 and most of the 4's but on the par 5 's it would have been good to have. Greens are fast which I liked. Very good deal for the money.

Played Masters weekend so for the money it was a great deal. Course is very generous off the Tees. What you see is what you get. Greens were rolling true and in great shape. Were paired with to English Gents and had a great time. I would play this course again with any level of golfer as it was fun and not to challenging of a layout.

Zero issues with this track. Putts were rolling well today .

Greens were soft and rolled well.

Course layout was straight forward and simple without blind shots.

Decent value except that prices double during Masters week. LoL.

I'm from the Augusta area and regularly play the local public courses like Forest Hills and Bartram Trail. I saw this course with a weekday hot deal for $17 total with fees and figured I'd try it out given the relatively good reviews online. Overall, this is a very average course that is not on the same playing field as the other public courses I mentioned. The greens are OK but not great. The fairways were very hard and dried out in many places. However, for the money it is about what you would expect. The one thing that really got me was the pace of play while I was there - ended up leaving after the front 9 because it was so slow. Not terrible for $17, but will likely spend the $5-10 extra to play somewhere else next time.

It’s about a 45 minute drive from my house to play here, we play here about three times a month.The lady at the front desk is very nice and friendly and the greens are in very good condition.If you haven’t paid here yet you should definitely give it a try.

The course was in good shape despite all of the rain we have had. The greens were surprisingly firm as well even after the rain. Played in a little under 3 hours even with several groups in front of us.

we definitely appreciate the two groups ahead of us to let us to play through ahead. that was real nice. I hope slower pace groups will aloow for quicker players through!!!

Hot deal is the best!... this course never disappoints. For winter golf it was in fine shape and was a beautiful day. The holes lined up for continued challenge and the risk reward is always there. My fifth or sixth time playing, it’s always a pleasure… Chipping, putting, driving range are above average.

I love this course! Fairways are wide open. Conditions have been near perfect all season. Layout is suitable for a high handicapper like me. Staff is helpful and friendly, Other than tournament weekends, pace of play has ranged from moderate to wide open. Highly reccommended!

Course shape was good but they left the cut grass all over the place. Pace of play was way to slow. Last few times have been extremely slow
