Great Masters Week Course

Fore please!! Applewood Golf Course!! 👏👏👏Great course to play to if you’re looking to play while in Augusta. Club house has a small deli. Turkey Club was great, course was great and prices were fair being Masters week.

We will be back next year.

Great value for Masters Patrons

$17 for 9 holes at a course 35 minutes from Augusta at a course that is well maintained is worth every penny. Cheap beer in the clubhouse as well.

Getting better

The course is getting in very good shape, especially the greens. The grass on the tee boxes is a little long but, they're letting them grow in. For the Hot Deal price, it can't be beat.

Incredible staff.

Had a great experience at Applewood. Golf course is in good shape this early in the season. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and so were the members. Definitely recommend.

Fun course to play

Very forgiving course to play. Hard to get in too much trouble off the tees on many holes. Played in late March so the fairways had understandably not grown out yet. They were fine for that time of year though. One hole was pretty rough (#10) with a mostly sanding fairway (maybe result of hurricane last Fall) but most other fairways were pretty good. Greens looked pretty good for this time of the year but they did not roll true in most cases - a bit too bumpy.

Overall, we had a great time, people were very friendly and I'd definitely recommend this course for the average golfer.

PS: One last comment, we went here as we saw this course listed as top 20 public courses in Georgia - it should not be listed a top 20 public course.

Remarkable Staff

My wife and I were visiting a

Coal state park for a week and had the chance to play 9 at the course. The staff were so friendly that we changed our pkans so we could squeeze in 18. We made it through 9 and were rained out. The staff provided us with a rain check for the back 9 and arranged a great time the next day for us to play the back 9. We will be back in the future and will share the name of this course with our friends that luckily get drawn for Masters tickets. Great course with great people.
