Applewood Golf Course

2nd time playing this course but I really like. A little gem hidden back in the country. I don't wanna recommend only cause I like that it's not so busy all the time...Lol.

Applewood is without a doubt me and my buddies favorite course to play. As someone who has played it over 30 times, I felt compelled to write a review to say that this course has always impressed me. The fairways are always great, the greens when not aerated are good, and the layout of the course is awesome. 3 gettable par 4’s in a row on the back 9 make this course so fun for the 12-17 handicap like myself. It’s so open and fun to play, and you will lose way less balls than normal because of it. Best course in Augusta (besides national of course) and I’ll die on that hill. Well worth the drive, and does not feel like you’re playing a $30 course.

Staff, course, price, everything is great out here. Except the grill! They close at 2-230 daily. What’s the point of even being open?!

Greens have been aerated. Played two putt max and had a great time.

I am new to golf so maybe not the best to provide a review. But I had a good time and of course every course challenges me but this one did not make me want to sit out any holes. I take that as a good sign =-)

Overall, still a great inexpensive course. Greens were absolutely horrible, but they were just punched the morning we played and it had rained several days the past week. Had to play front 9 twice which caused lots of waiting. Maybe a half priced discount the day they punch would be nice or a nice big warning. Staff always still fantastic and friendly. Fairways are good. Bunkers are good. I'd give it a week or two from today for greens. June 5th. I will never not recommend Applewood, though.

Had to play the back nine twice as they were airating the front nine. Play was a little slow due to that. Overall though this is a great course to play. We'll be back
