There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. From Jacksonville take I-95 north to Georgia exit 6 and head east for two miles. Laurel Island Parkway will be on the left.

Donkey
Green rolled good but there was a lot of dead spots. Bunkers were in poor shape as well as the t-boxes.
Great course great time but there was kids playing in the bunker on the 18th hole they wouldn’t leave so I couldn’t play the hole
Different conditions, different holes....
Tale of every hole...kinda looked like they were short on folks to care for the course...some holes just beautiful, some were a little unkempt....some needed green work, some needed trap love, others perfect. great scenery....lovely design....the gent in the clubhouse was an absolute pleasure....Denny?!? Good experience overall, but 54 bucks should get a much more cared for golf course. Just needs a little more love....
Course is in very good condition
It looks like they have been doing some work on the on the course and it’s in the best shape I’ve seen it in a while. Pace of play could have been better.
Nice Course, Good Price
The course is in nice shape, greens roll quick. Everything is in good shape besides the bunkers. Great deal and for the price you can’t go wrong.
Good course for beginners
The fairways and greens were in great shape but the green side bunkers need some maintenance, proper drainage and grass removable think this would add overall quality to the total experience of play to the golfers game. The starter is very nice and helpful wish all courses had a individual like him.
Scenic Layout - Will be Back
Enjoyed my round. It’s been a few years since I last played. I had forgotten the scenic layout of the Fri t nine. Overall in good shape. It appears they’ve decided to let the sand traps go - grass- weeds growing in a number of them. Not sure if a conscious decision or a maintenance-staffing issue. Played two days after Idalia came through, though, so they get a pass. Plus I only got in one - it was mostly under water but I found a spot to take a drop. I’ll be back.
Had time to kill
Working in the area, job got delayed, so I came out, rented a set of clubs and enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenic views. Course was in pretty good shape, especially the greens. You paid for it if you got in the thick rough, even only a foot or so off the fairway. Overall nice outing.
Serious weed problem
The greens were very good. However, the crabgrass and goosegrass have taken over everywhere else. Rough didn’t seem to be mowed for a while. Had a great time with friends.
Great course
From the time you enter the clubhouse until you leave is a fantastic experience. The staff, club and course are absolutely amazing.
Great value and Davis Love design
I have always enjoyed going to Laurel Links. Overall course conditions are great including green surfaces. Some part of the green areas were under construction but it did not impact your play. Overall a great course. I am pleased with the price point to play and it is certainly a great value. Wish many of the courses in Jacksonville’s followed suit. If you live in the North Florida and South Georgia area, good play Laurel Island Links.
Been awhile
Course was in excellent shape
Fairways and all greens except 15 are very playable.
And only a corner of 15 was chewed up
Only bad part was the traps need to be replaced
They are really poor
Overall, worth the drive from jax
