About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Great layout. Sufficient range.
Tidy up a bit. Good ole fashioned golf course, just not appealing as well as could be with maintenance. Fairways are good. Greens need shaping up.
Could be much better
Overall, not terrible. The course itself could be quite nice, but there are a good number of spots that are in need of repair. On the back 9, we happened to get stuck behind a beginner 4some, who had no interest in pace of play, and therefore stalled multiple groups. I’ll return at some point.

Yet ro improve the cart path
Many places of cart path were damaged and it is not safe for the player. Golf cart path to be repaired urgently.
Overall good course for my level of play
I like this course but there are some repairs needed on some of the fairways. The greens were in good shape for the most part. I will be back to play. Thanks

Attention Gwinnett County Government - spend some money on your course
This is a GREAT location and a very populated county. The county owns the course. The greens were terrible there’s so many divots or fungus. 16 out of 18 were bad. Two tee boxes were trashed and had no grass. I had a tee time and had no issues with pace of play on a holiday.
Gwinnett County PLEASE spend some money on the course and get it alot better. I will not go back for $45 a round.
Cart Path to be repaired
One thing that the cart path which was damaged due to flooding to be repaired immediately for the safety of using cart

Gwinnett County Government - invest some $$$
Nice lay out & fairs are good. Tee boxes and greens are HORRIBLE!!! Please, please Gwinnett spend some tax dollars and make this place nice…

Annoyed
I and my wife played. However, we were very annoyed because a lawn mower was following us and created big noise and dusts around us.
Not Worth the Money
The course was definitely not worth the 49 bucks I paid to play there. The driving range, or lack there of was maybe 7 mats into an open field that you couldn’t hit over 200yds on. The practice bunker was infested with what looked like some type of hornet burrowing into the sand. Couldn’t even use it. The course itself had a very weird layout and frequently had balls flying from different directions at us. The course of play was not regulated so there was a group of 8 in front of us taking forever that we finally passed at the turn. The cart girl came around once and it was 90 degrees. All of the greens had mold and made it impossible to read and actually make a decent putt. This course is more of a $20 a round course. Pine Hills is Winder is 25 and is better kept than this course. Not impressed at all and won’t be going back unless they cut the price in half.
Greens were horrible. Looks like they have had fungus at some point. Hole 17 had o hole in big as a bowling ball.
