About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Water is N play
Water comes into play on seven of the first nine holes. The course is also Tree lined if you have a slice do not come to this golf course you will lose a lot of balls if you know how to hit a golf ball it’s a really good course sand traps protecting the greens on every hole on the front side except for number 4 Also the holes that have dog legs really require you to be all the way on the outside to have a clear shot at the pin Greens are small and flat.and SLOW due to the people that come out there and think it’s a bombs away course it’s not again if you don’t have a golf shot and you are playing a slice please keep the pace of plate up by playing from the front tees thank you
Needs to be much cheaper.
This course is in rough condition. 18 holes on a weekend should be 40 MAX.
Very Poor Condition
Course was in very poor condition with little to no upkeep.
I would not play here again.
It's ok
It's not as bad as recent reviews suggest. Pace of play was a problem and the greens were pretty slow and shaggy. It's a pleasant layout however and a reasonably good experience for the greens fees charged for Sunday morning golf.
Challenging course
I liked the set up of the course. Didn’t have to use driver on all par 4’s. The cart paths really need some work. Even going slowly I thought the cart was going to come apart.
Great public course located near Mall of Georgia. Convenient to I-85 and GA Hwy 20.
Course was a little dry. Some of the fairways need some help. Cart paths are in dire need of repair. A lot of the t boxes were hard and need some turf. There is no drinking water on the course at all.
Not worth the money
As the title says, it is not worth the money as the course is in horrible condition.
Affordable green fees
It costs a lot to maintain the grounds and carts for a golf course. This club’s condition reflects they probably can’t afford it.
Neither the carts nor the course are in good condition. But it still gets a lot of play.
Some of the T boxes are in dire need of assistance. They were hard and need some more grass on them. Course doesn’t have much drinking water available and I don’t know if they have a cart person , I did not see one. Play wa a bit slow and o did not see a ranger.
Needs work
Tee boxes and greens are to close together chances of getting it by a golf ball is good some greens were great some needs work
The cart paths are awful. They must not have a ground crew. There were limbs all over the course.
6 hour round
No marshal making rounds, stuck behind the slowest group for 18 holes. 6 hour round not an exaggeration, would never play here again on a Saturday.
