About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Greens
They cleaned up a lot. Was very nice .
Watch out for the Geese!
Course greens
Greens were in bad shape, money spent should have been half.
As bad as it always is
Fairways are full of rock and Clay the grass is terrible. The greens were either burnt up or the grass was like putting on carpet. With the layout, you can hit a great ball straight down the middle and still roll off the side of a hill and lose your ball..
Below Average Course for Above Average Price
Course is in rough condition. Greens have dirt patches and appear to be turf instead of grass. Tee boxes are in rough shape as well. Fairways are OK. Pace of play is decent depending on the day. Cart path needs serious help. The layout is fun but the conditions just make it miserable.
This course should be 40 for an 18 MAX in these conditions.
Good value
Good value for the money. The cart paths could use some TLC but overall good round.
very poor conditions, exasperated by the dried out Bermuda
this course has an interesting layout, but the fairways are all straw, mostly dirt, at this point and the greens are very rough. The sand traps are not maintained at all. The course needs a lot of work.
Not My Favorite
I played on very sunny winter day. Lots of golfers were out for the first time of the year. Abit rusty golfers resulting in a very slow game. Maybe on a different day, I would think about going back.
