About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Good fairways bad greens
Everything was decent and worth the money cause it’s close but the greens weren’t great. Tee boxes were alright. But for $10 more chimneys is superior

Not bad for the money
Conditions were not bad, a few greens were iffy. The staff was on point trying to keep the pace of play moving.

Messy greens
Fairways are alright. Green are a mess. Can’t plan a put to save your life with the “bandaids” to the greens

Poor Greens
The course is decent but the grass on both the greens and the tee box were too long. One green had a section in the middle that looked like it was replaced with sod from Home Depot. For the prices the course is not well kept. Clearly operated on the cheap.

Slow play of older scrambling groups
Hard to enjoy today's round because of how slow the men's scrambling bunch took way to long on the front 9.
They must have stopped after 9 holes thank goodness. It took me over 2 hours to play the front 9 where I typically get done in a little over 1.5 hours.
I hope in the future they will let us play through...

Great golf course condition.
Course condition was excellent. Course layout is not too difficult for noobs like me. It’s difficult enough to enjoy the game.

Beat the heat with early 18 holes
Course was in good shape, fairways were a bit slowed down which for me worked out just fine. Greens were in decent condition for the most part. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Staff in the golf shop
The gentleman in the pro shop is awful. Zero personality. He looks as though you are bothering him by checking in. If you have any questions please don’t waste your time with this guy. I have played there twice and this guy was awful both times. Please get some new help. He works in the mornings

This is a very nice course hidden in Collins Hill. The course is nice and tough. The staff is not very friendly.
