About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Great Fairways! "Slightly" Grainy greens
The course was in great shape. Nice fairways, tough layout but rewards accuracy. The greens are in good shape, however, very slightly grainy.

Friendly Staff
The staff was nice and let push back my tee time after forgetting my clubs at home. All in all, I enjoyed my time although after the 10th hole it got a bit slow. The ranger was attentive and tried to help speed up pace. The cart path could use some work, but other than that, it's a great course that I will definitely play again.

This course has long drives and traps aren't too bad.

First Time playing
We read all the reviews on-line, good and bad, and decided to see for ourselves. The course was in great shape from the beginning. We were greeted by very polite staff. The starter took us to the first tee and got us started a little early. The course was 75% full but the pace was quick and smooth. We didn't have to wait at all after the third hole. The fairways were well kept and most of the greens looked good. We could tell there had been a lot of work done to bring them up to.par. The course is short but challenging. We both shot under par. We really enjoyed the day and will return soon.

Take Your Money Elsewhere
For a $50 tee time I expect the cart path to be usable. Better off to walk the course. Fairways are in bad condition but the green were decent. Definitely not worth $50, it may be $25 at most. Save your time and money going to a different course in the area for the same price or cheaper.

Where am I??
Very poorly marked, no directional signage. I never found two of the holes at all. I guess they assume everyone will just know where to go? At least three times I found my self just driving around trying to find the next fairway. Never found two of them so I just left after wonder Aimlessly.

Collins Hill
What an absolute dump. The design of the course at a minimum is bizarre and hardly represents any real golf strategy worth playing on. Heinous cart paths. You’ll leave with whiplash. Pace of play was terrible. The only good thing I can say about the course was that the greens were decent. Only nearly every hole was the size of a dinner plate. Unforgiving, rough shape, bad pace of play. Do not recommend.

Bumpy roads to fun
As a first time on the course I was terrified of the cart paths for these holes. The pot holes, broken pavement, and narrow paths had me holding my breath at some points. But when the pace of play was moving the course was challenging but worth the experience. Lost a few balls, got in a few good drives, and will definitely learn from my putting game

Needs some work
I normally play municipal courses and the greens at this course were by far the worst I’ve ever seen. Two or three of the greens had more dirt on them than grass. The small part of the cart path that remains on the last two holes is so rough you feel like you’re on a roller coaster. This course is worth $30 max in its current condition.

Good fairways bad greens
Everything was decent and worth the money cause it’s close but the greens weren’t great. Tee boxes were alright. But for $10 more chimneys is superior
