About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Mixed bag
The course greens were in amazing shape, props to the course staff. The guy at chexjnin was short tempered at best, not to me.directly buy others. Not alot of people were on the course which was nice. The carts don't have coolers and there was no cart attendant so all in all it was ok. I don't know if I will come.back or not

Front nine fine
The front nine is in good condition. Yes greens are a bit slow. Not surprising with recent rains. Back nine had a very few rough patches. Greens were well kept. Lots of laterally sloped fairways. Staff was fine.

What a let down :-(
We play courses all over GA and had heard that Collins Hill was a good challenge and with decent facilities, but we were really disappointed with all! The gal taking our cash in the pro-shop was nice enough, and the little cart girl Cory did her best too, but they are the only reason this location even gets two stars. Lets start with the range, mats only and it looks like it was a cow field instead of a proper range. Clubhouse, decent building, no real food, no cups for ice, no sandwiches, no one to even help you (outside of the girl in the pro-shop). BTW all this they don't offer and the don't allow outside food or drink!?!? Course is a tough layout and a challenge, but tiny greens that were extremely slow. Many of the greens (or most ) looked like they were not cared for or dyeing! Fairways were okay. Cart paths are in poor shape and will beat you to death! So disappointed and will never play it again! Do not waste you money on this! (Should have been $20 instead of $53!

Family golf outing
We had myself, my nephew and two of my son in laws.
We played best ball cart vs cart and we had a great time!
This was my fist game of golf after a year and a half due to several knee surgeries.
The course was in good condition front nine especially.!
The cart girl Torri was very good supplying us with adult beverages.

Monday play
It was a great course . I enjoyed the challenges of the slanted fairways . And hole 16 Barr fairway and hazard s around it.

Don't pay full price!
Tea boxes and fairways had not been moaned. Greens are a mess. General manager blamed it on being Monday morning. Did not offer any refund or rain check. Won't be back!

Excellent First Experience
We had a great day at this course, Smooth pace for a Saturday, Tees, Fairways and Greens in excellent condition and were being maintained properly.

No bad
Short course, but the layout forces some strategic shots off the tee. Some narrow holes make it challenging off the tee as well. I did like the layout. The day I played, the tee boxes were not cut and grass was fairly tall for a tee area. Would have liked them trimmed, but not a total deal breaker. The greens were in rough shape. Lot of damage to some and made for a very inconsistent putting experience hole to hole. Amenities: driving range is short (215 yds max). Good enough to loosen up. Mats only, and these aren’t in the best of shape. Grill is closed. In short, I’d play it again. However, I wouldn’t pay $50 (played on a Sunday morning).
