About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Variety layout
There are easy and difficult holes. Up down is more than usual. Course condition is not good enough.

Nice enough
Played this course many times over the years as it is a convenient meet up spot. It looks like the management is trying to improve the fairways, but they are failing miserably on keeping up the greens as they are very inconsistent and it looks like they have even tried to re-sod a couple of holes.
Still, the course is convenient and the greens fee is not too bad for a hot deal. I definitely would not play the course for their 40-50 walk up greens fee.

Expensive for course condition
Took a shot and played this as it’s been a few years and was hoping the course was in better shape now based on the price of 50$. This place isn’t worth more than 30$ still. Greens are terrible with dead spots throughout. Sand traps are ok, it did rain the day before I played so I will give them the benefit of the doubt however hole 18 has the outline of traps, but they were not kept up and are now just deep grass which is disappointing. Overall it will be years before I try this course again.

Had a great day - perfect weather conditions
I enjoy playing here, the staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Course to use some work on greens which have little grass and can be a bit lumpy this makes putting a real challenge.
I would love to see the cart paths repaired, but I've been asking that to happen for years. My son and I play here once a month.

This course should only be a last resort.
Unless you’re paying $20-$30 to play here, it’s a waste of money. Most of the challenges arise from the greens and how poorly maintained the vast majority of them are. It’s almost like the groundskeepers have given up on trying to keep the course nice. The cart path on the back 9 eventually ceases to exist because the concrete is so damaged. You aren’t allowed to hit anything but irons/wedges on the driving range (also poor quality). Just don’t waste your time here.

Horrible Greens
Good layout. Short, even from the tips. But the greens. Horrendous. I have seen better greens on a $7 city public par 3 course. Probably won't play again.

Greens are bad, but course is fun
I didn’t expect a lot because this is not supposed to be a world renowned first class course, but the greens are bad. I liked the course, not too difficult and a lot of fun but the greens would have ruined my day if I was actually trying to score.

We had a great round today! Great friendly staff! We ended up playing with a member. He was the nicest guy to pair up with. I am an amateur golfer and shoot 100-110 but love the game. I must say the pace of play was the best of all. Didn’t wait for a single shot and finished the round in 3 hours and 6 minutes. Great time! Enjoy!

Greens are awful
We could barely putt. There's not a green out there that doesn't have bare spots and they're like putting on shag carpet.
