About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Pace of Play
People need to be more aware of their pace of play, so everyone is moving at a good speed. That said, not looking too long for balls hit in the woods.

Soggy Round
The course was soggy and should have been closed. Cart paths are in need of TLC. Several trees have come down and need to be removed. Is that the reason why hot deals are available?

Nice course layout but fair condition
The course has a nice layout. It’s a fun Course with narrow fairways But the condition of the course is below average and needs repairs.

Really upset
Was happy to find this track and pay 40 a person, but sadly it was a 5.5 hour round and greens rolled around a 4-5 on stimp. I play golf as a playing pro and confirm that this is no joke of a review. very disappointed that when i called the pro shop about pace of play, they did nothing about it. Would not recommend your money going here!

Greens improved.
It’s been about 6 no then Since playing the course. The greens are much improved. A bit slow but I think that was due to impending frost warnings. But much better than 6 months ago. Kudos to greens keeper staff. Need Marshall out there speeding up slow players. Not much improved greens

This is a true municipal course
Come in with low expectations and you will be fine. The greens are ok, the course could use some work. The pace of play was slow. I waited on every tee box.
