About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Greens were terrible
The greens on most holes were terrible. Had no grass. Also they should buy a leaf blower. I understand it is fall but you should not lose your ball in the fairway in a pile of leaves. There are still trees down from a storm a month ago it's about time to get it cleaned up.

Very nice classic course
Very nice experience. Some of the greens are under repair but enjoyed the course and would definitely recommend.

Needs work
Greens need work. Storm damage and alot of trees were down but didn't see anyone even starting to attempt to clean them up.

This is a good course for up to intermediate players.
Overall the course is well maintained except for the broken cart path areas on the last hole.

Good value and convenient to where I live
Got to put that driver up, use a 3 wood or whatever keeps the ball in play. Most fairways are too tight to be hooking and slicing. Late weekday afternoons and I often have 9 holes to myself !!

Nice day, slow round
Not the nicest of courses but there are some tricky shots on this one. Greens a little slow and some bumps but over all not bad for the price.

Course in need of TLC
I've played this course several times now and enjoy the convenience that the location provides me and my son.
It would be nice if they would put back some time and TLC to the greens and cart paths which is a bigger hazard than any of the bunkers or water ways.
The cart paths remind me of downtown Atlanta, it's a wonder no one has been hurt seriously
