About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

How do people consistently play here??
Clear your schedule if you want a tee time at Collins Hill. The most awful speed of play I have witnessed. Nothing better than taking 2 hours to play front 6 holes...If you want to spend 45 dollars on a below average course with absolutely wrecked greens, then this is the place for you.
Will NEVER be back. You can get a tee time for cheaper with better play ANYWHERE else. What a joke

Greens for most part were in decent shape...several (5-6) were in horrible shape and should be replaced or have a secondary green used
Cart paths need lots of repair as I felt like I was off roading most of the time when on them
Most everything else was what I expected for a public course

Will come back again
First time playing here, so the course was unfamiliar. Overall, good course, only two or three greens that needed some extra attention (putting thru dirt/sand/seeds). Fairways were in good condition, drink cart came around often and bathroom were clean. I plan to come back again.

Poor Conditions
The cart paths at this course are horrendous. For $36, I would expect better quality than what I experienced. Many of the greens were being repaired with new sod and the ones not being repaired were in rough shape. If you must golf here, I would walk and save money. If you decide to ride a cart, stay off the cart path as much as possible.

First Time Playing Golf
So I'm very new to golf. I've been to the driving range a bunch and I've slowly been building a set but I decided to pull the trigger and book a 5:30pm tee time for 9 holes today. That being said, I had an absolute blast. I brought my girlfriend along to keep me company and I didn't have to pay her greens fee. Sure, some of the greens have patches but that didn't stop me from sinking a 30ft putt on the 9th hole! Also, I shot a 17 on my very first golf hole and I almost cried laughing. If you're pretentious or are used to playing up-scale golf courses you probably wont like this one. There's blind holes and the cart path is a bit rough, but I had a ton of fun and would recommend it to anyone if it was their first time out golfing. It's very laid back. I'll definitely be back soon!

Overall Good
The title says it all.
Overall a good course, only real complaints I had was the putting greens could've been taken care of more, as well as the course road for the carts.
