Collins Hill Golf Club

I've been playing this course off and on for the past 7-8 years and it's fun! I had three golf buddies I would play it with one past away a few years ago RIP Steve Singleton! The other one moved to Savannah and my other buddy don't like it. I played last week with my wife's coworker and it was ok! Same as always slow greens and thick fairways! That makes it more challenging I guess it helps your game when you play other courses which some may say are perfect. The staff is always very friendly so when ever I wanna play which is often and I cant get out until late in the evening count me in!! I started after 4 and was done by 7:30.

Greens and fairways were in good condition. Some of the tee boxes were hard. Sand traps were over grown with weeds and grass. Awful.

In general, the greens fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The cart paths were in very poor shape and difficult to navigate around. This created an extreme bumpy ride.

I’m glad this was a Hot Deal because otherwise it would have been a total waste of money. Many of the fairways were in need of mowing - literally you could see three or four inch grass blowing in the breeze in places; hard to differentiate from rough. But the worst part was the greens. They were so slow that it was nearly impossible to play the breaks - just aim at the back of the cup and fire, because there was no letting it break and drop in.

Staff not too impressive, either, or perhaps they were understaffed. Ten minutes or more after buying range balls, we drive there and the sprinklers are running full tilt. We looked around and nobody to turn them off. Finally we get clubs and balls back in the cart and head towards the clubhouse for a refund, and staff member meets us coming with the tool to turn off the water.

I played the front nine about a year ago and it seemed to be an “okay” course. Sad to say, but there are too many good options to waste an opportunity at Collins Hill again.

The cart paths at this course will kill your back. On some holes you’ll lose your ball on good drives. 90% of the practice green was used as sod and they still haven’t restored it a year later. Don’t ask for a rain check. It applies only towards your future round of 18 holes of which you must pay the 9 hole difference.

For the money, it’s not bad.... back nine is in better shape then the front. Some fairways it’s like hitting off of concrete so forget about trying to spin the ball.

My biggest complaint is that there is not one ball washer on the course. What’s up with that?

Clubhouse in excellent condition. Fairways cut short and very fast. Cart path in good condition except last few holes. Many washed out areas. Some greens had blight.

Second too worse course I’ve ever played. Tee boxes are rough, fairways can’t even see the hole, greens are terrible; half of them barely have grass on them, pretty narrow course. Your first and second shot is pretty much a guess cause you can’t see where your hitting towards. No info on trenches/ditches or waters hazards. Never playing here again!

Could be better... Cart path and green conditions could be better. Fairways were muddy on back 9. Staff were very helpful.

The cart paths were pretty awful on the back nine. The fairway on the 11th hole was extremely muddy, and wasn’t very forgiving of a “less than perfect” drive. A majority of the greens weren’t in the greatest condition.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

I will visit again because the price is affordable and it’s close to my house.

The Main problem with this course are the greens.

Its like putting on a carpet. Thickness varies and patches all over the green. This place is a waste of time and definitely not worth the money.

Great course and value for your money. 35 bucks on a Sunday near Atalanta is almost impossible. A great course for people like me who are about an 18 handicap and just play for fun and hanging with my boys. Not super long but long enough to be challenging.

Cart paths on the back Niki is like running a Baja. How many years have they been like that. A sinkhole marked by a trash can! Not safe. Overall was good.

Collins Hills Golf Club is one of the best courses to play around in Atlanta for the value. The fairways and greens are kept in good condition and the staff have always been friendly. The course itself has some challenging holes with creeks, lakes, and elevation differences to come into effect. I would highly recommend this golf course to play among friends and work colleagues.

It’s worth money to play here. Green is not in the best condition. But friendly staffs& course layout compensate more than enough.

Lots of fun, meet new people, course in pretty good shape, waiting for ththe fairways to fill in and gree up. A great day for some reason I can't get my name in the correct box,
