Collins Hill Golf Club

overall course conditions are in need of attention...there are too many spots that are bare , wet and muddy, or under repair ( for at least two years) .

Played this course when I was younger much improved in the past ten years for the buck it's a great place to play and hone your game in I will be back

This is a challenging course with narrow hilly tree line fairways and small greens. There are many blind fairways and greens because of the hilliness. Don't be fooled by the short yardage. If you play from the blues, there are about 10 holes where you have to use your big stick.

This course was terrible. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I was very disappointed in my experience there. The same goes for the group I brought with me. Not one of the three of us had even close to a decent time. The players at the course were even rude. We bought 12 drinks from the clubhouse before we started and at the first hole were told we could not have a cooler with us because it is a county ordinance even though we play all over the county at much nicer courses and always take coolers with us. It was about 85-90 degrees and very humid so we had no drinks with us. Not to mention halfway through the course we saw two other groups of 4 with coolers in each of their carts. I would NOT recommend this course to anyone who enjoys playing golf, but if you don't care about your experience and want to play on a cheap easy course then I suppose this would suffice. However, even though I live only ten minutes from this course I will NEVER go back

Enjoyable to play,different than most courses .I like trees and there are plenty of them.The course is well maintained and the staff are friendly.I will play again next time in Atlanta.

Course was in much better shape this round than previously earlier this year. We were able to tee off a little earlier than our scheduled time which was great. The pace of play was excellent and we did finish up in just a little under 4 hours. For a Sunday morning that's pretty unusual. All greens were in perfect conditions. Don't recall seeing any that had bare spots or other issues. Had time permitted, we would played a second round without hesitation! Unfortunately the person in the club house wasn't very friendly and bordered on being rude. None the less, it was a great place to play. We will definitely return.

Course was wet, not there fault. It played well and the pace of play was good. We had a very enjoyable time.

Several severe doglegs add an element of challenge

first half course isn't that good but second half is better.

Played this course on 8/2/13 for the first time in awhile. We played as a twosome and finished in right at 3.5 hours on a Friday morning. We didn't have any issue with the staff, they had a small scramble ahead of us, but didn't cause us any problems. Course was in pretty good shape overall, the berumda greens are a little grainy, but they were full and in good shape. Not an overly difficult course, but a few too many blind tee shots for me! Will definitely be back for the price.

Staff was rude, unfriendly, and unwilling to help... particularly Jay. After waiting at the counter for about 5 minutes wondering where the staff was, a table of regulars sitting in the lounge began whistling and yelling to the back that they had a customer... awkward! Course was a ghost town but they wanted me to wait 45 minutes on a random 3 some they had paired me with... even though I refused and offered to pay the difference. Jay seemed to take some sort of pleasure out of my discontent which really upset me. Course is probably in the worst shape of any course in North Atlanta and I nor any of my golf buddies will ever waste our time and money again. It's a shame that this piece of land was wasted by this 'golf club' because the terrain and layout actually has potential. Will not even consider returning unless it's run by new management.

Best bang for the buck. Well maintained course. Good greens too. Enough hills, bunkers, water, and dog legs to keep things interesting

Course fairways needs some attention. I played course last year and it seemed like it was on an up swing. A little disappointed in what seemed to be a little down swing in the maintenance of the course.

Nice course, priced reasonably, friendly employees. The greens are the best they have been in years.

Good condition, but greens are very steep and its like putting on a side of a hill with most holes

The course lends itself to slow play. Hole 2 was under major repair. Greens were in good shape.

All the greens are in great to superb shape. Hole 2 has demolition of trees but was able to drive over it. Overall course is in great condition.

For the area, Collins Hill course is a great play for the average to above average golfer. Difficult distances, changing angles and blind shots make Collins Hill a challenging and fun course to play. Definitely will play again.
