Southbridge Savannah Golf Club

One 9 some what mowed, the other not. No consistency what so ever. Cart paths are just so bad...my back is killing me. Greens are not a true roll. Again, LONG way to go!! But the new asphalt roads in the community are sweet, too bad the course isn't.

It had been a while since I’ve played Southbridge. The cart paths are very bad. We had allot of rain the day before so it was cart path only and there were several places where standing water were on the cart paths. Lots of mud. The course itself was ok especially for the price. Staff was friendly.

This course is on the way back from the pits of two years ago. Area inundated with rain but fairways and greens pretty good shape. Still needs some work...cart paths and traps....but with continued TLC this course will return to one of the best in Savannah.

The course was in really good shape after all the rain we have gotten. Play was slow on the back but we had a good time.

tee boxes in bad shape, putting green in bad shape, most bunkers under repair and not maintained, cart paths in bad shape.......you can still have fun here and enjoy a nice round of golf, but I would not pay more than $30 to play here - not worth it unless you get a deal through golf now or teeoff.

This is beautiful golf course with some challenges in the layout especially from the longer tees. Super friendly staff ( as you'd expect in Savannah). A definite play again course.

My only criticism is the state of the cart paths, you need a 4x4 wrangler for some of them.

Course is in decent shape. Still has a lot of improvements to be made and worked on but they take time and money. Great value for course offered! Will definitely be back

After the “takeover” by the residents, things have definitely improved. Course maintenance is the most noticeable and having a guy out front directing traffic is a big plus! A Marshall keeping tabs on the pace of play would be nice, but that seems to be a gripe on every course in America. Watched the cart girl head off on the opposite nine when we teed off and didn’t see her agin until our 18th hole? Wow! Middle of the summer, water coolers were empty, and no beverage cart? Keep improving guys! I have been playing this course for 30 years and I am rooting for your comeback!

If you have not played Southbridge in the last 3 months you owe to yourself to play a round there. Major improvement to fairways and greens. The clubhouse restaurant and tavern are open and improved. Nice lunch menu. The facilities are clean and maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When they know your name they make a point to address you by it. Great value for the price.

For the price, it’s hard to beat. Biggest area that needs improvement are a few of the tee boxes.

But I got heavy rain little while

That’s why we quit to play

They just said can’t help , call golf now and get refund.

I don’t care about 2 people half round rain check

I should not use golf now to make tee time

That’s way I get more easy to rain check

I was able to talk to a person who lives there and explain to me why the course was in the shape that it was in. They are trying to rejuvenate the course and it's going to take time. There was a lot of cut grass left on the course some of the tea boxes were not in good shape but overall it's a still a great course I guess people are going to have to wait until the homeowners are able to get it in great shape.
