The guy who runs the pro shop is mean, rude, vulgar, and impolite. I would never join or return after what I just experienced. Very rude. Really. Just horrible.

Better than I expected
Got the tee time on a Hot Deal. Course was in not bad shape as some reviewers have mentioned. It looks like they are allowing the fairway bunkers to grow in. The green side bunkers were in pretty good shape. Greens were pretty good with not much ball marks. The tee boxes needed to be cut and need a little bit of TLC but I have played on worse. The course is still pretty tough and makes you think about your shot. Will be back against

Beautiful day
The weather was perfect, the staff was very accommodating but the course needs work. Tee boxes were hit and miss with grass, some just dirt and need to be rotated at least occasionally. Fairway bunkers were overgrown waste areas and should be treated as unplayable lies. If the trend continues, these could be allowed to grow in completely and become part of the rough. greens were mostly in great shape and players seemed to be repairing ballmarks which is a plus. Cart paths were nearly impassable in areas and would be nice if they rerouted around these areas or just remove the broken pavement. All in all a challenging course that could be improved rather easily with a little thought and effort

Nothing to brag about
Friendly staff, pace was good on this day, Carts are too slow and will not allow you to leave the cart path., course is very tight and bunkers are wash out.. This course needs a make over.

Carts have a very wierd governor that slows down in middle of cart path and doesn't run consistently.

Anyone walking around the golf course can see that the fairway bunkers had grass growing in most of them so that they were unplayable. The tee boxes were often barren of any grass. Much of the grass along the course was weedy, especially in the rough. Greens were the only decent feature. The fall is my favorite time to play as the courses are usually lush and in their best shape at the end of the summer season. Very disappointed.

Fun course
Always enjoy playing Smoke Rise! Course in good shape.
Worse shape ever
Grass growing in the bunkers, no sand in the bunkers, hit a rock under the sand in the bunker, fairways and tee boxes not cut Geens were OK but had a lot of ball marks
Overall this was not worth what GolfNow and the Course are charging to play this course

A course for advanced players
Very challenging course with very tight fairways to hit from the Teebox. Be prepared to bring lots of balls because if you are beginner to intermediate you will lose many of them do you to no room for error on the front nine. I’ll sand traps with the exception of maybe one or two we’re all heavily overgrown with weeds. If you’re looking for a good time, choose somewhere else. I have to say the greens were pretty nice and true to the roll.

Amazing design UNFORTUNATELY

Arrived in Atlanta a week ago and this was my first impression of the surrounding 4 star Golf course.
Zero value for money.
Bunkers dont exist
Tee boxes are horrendous
The cups are brown all around which means they havnt been moved in a while.
Was extremely disappointed , would think for 60 dollars at least the small issues would be a priority. Website 72 Dollars.
I dont see myself returning anytime soon.
