Lightning Fast, rock hard, undulating Greens.
The greens were in great shape, are very fast and hard. I don't believe I saw a single ball mark on the green. Not because people were that good about repairing them but because I think you would need to drop a ball from the space shuttle to make a mark. I hit some very high wedge shots, and never made a ball mark. This is not a criticism, just a fact that made this course very challenging. Approach shots need to be perfectly placed to hold. When putting... just a tap could take you from a three foot put to 20 foot put if you pass the hole and hit a slope..

Pretty good
Greens were great. Traps need some work. Day after a big rain so conditions were excepted. First cart died after about six holes, second cart almost died before we finished the round.

Course was backed up more than an hour and the course was in bad shape, saw 5 carts that died on the course due to not being charged enough.

Horrible experience
Got there early to hit balls and it took them 10+ minutes to get us buckets. A cart wasn’t available when we arrived. Once we got a cart, it died on the second hole and they didn’t have a replacement. The club house said they didn’t have anymore carts and to hitch a ride on the working cart. Horrible service. I want my money back.

Worst golf course layout of all time
This course should have never been developed. It’s the most absurdly laid out golf course I’ve ever played....it also happens to be in terrible shape. The cart paths are a mess, bunkers are a mess, greens are playable. Horrible course - too many decent options in Atlanta. Would never come back.

Great value
Awesome round of golf. Great pace of golf. The gentleman who escorted us to the first tee was super nice and offered first class service. Greens were too slow.

Challenging track
Other than some of the bunkers and tee boxes, the course is in really good shape. Coming from a 0 handicap member, I really do love this course. Its mountain golf in the city. Beautiful layout through rolling hills and not a lot of houses along the course which I like. This is a shot makers course that requires a solid 200-230 yard shot off almost every par 4 tee box, pulling the driver only three times during the round for me(9,13,16). Playing from the back tees #4 might be one of the hardest tee shots in Atlanta. A hard dogleg left with very small landing area and trouble everywhere.The course is a little rough around the edges, with the bunkers being almost completely washed out, but, it seems the new superintendent is making the necessary changes that the course needs. The greens are very good and true but I feel they could roll a bit faster. I feel like the course is only getting better and excited for the future.

Stay Away From This Course
A buddy and I found this course on a deal with Golfnow and decided to take a chance even after reading some pretty bad reviews. The course looks like it could have been really nice at some point, but those days are long gone. The only redeeming quality of the course was the putting greens. The tee boxes were in playable shape, but not great. The fairways were tight and any shot not in the dead middle could be a lost ball. The sand traps were laughable. If they weren’t mistaken for a small pond, they were eroding away and not playable. For a Saturday afternoon it was fairly dead on the course. You would assume pace of play would be great, but that wasn’t the case. What started as a group of two (plus two girls just riding) playing in front of us turned into a group of seven by the 18th hole. If that weren’t bad enough the girls started hitting when they obviously had not been playing the rest of the round. One of the guys in the group even claimed to work at the club. I don’t know what kind of employee would thinking having a group of 7 people playing together is a good idea or allow that to happen. All that to say, no matter how good of a deal this course looks like, it’s probably not worth it.

Tough track!
The course was in good conditions, greens were well maintained and rolling at a good speed. Pace of play was average if not above average for Friday afternoon. This is the kind of course where knowing the layout is a significant advantage. It would have been nice to have a yardage book or even a course map on the scorecard, but fortunately i played with a couple of other singles that knew their way around. Be warned, this is a tough course! Not long, but placement is key. Maybe only pulled driver 3 to 4 times. I’de play here again.
