About
Formerly known as Poplar Creek Country Club, the club was transformed into the Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in 2011. Besides just the name change, the design itself was dramatically reinvented. Fifteen holes were completely redesigned but the golf course's most memorable holes were left untouched. Bunkers and fairways were reconfigured and fescue was planted to provide more depth and definition. To make the course even more challenging, new lakes were also added. The golf course is definitely a shot maker's layout that rewards accuracy and thoughtful strategizing. The final three holes are considered by many locals to be the toughest finishing trio in all of Illinois. It begins with an uphill par 4, followed by the longest par-3 and par-4 holes respectively. The Bridges of Poplar Creek C.C. offers a round that will challenge even the most avid golfers.

Very nice course
This is a very nice course four sets of two boxes for the beginner to Advanced player course was in Nice condition cart with GPS and Club washer the Cups had a device you can lift with your putter to get the balls to come out was very good for the older gentleman I played with I must commend them on the real nice and clean bathroom they had out on the course for women especially I play a lot this is one of the better all around courses I have played in a while thank your staff they do a great job
Good course for the money
Very friendly staff. Nice layout and pretty well maintained for a course that probably gets traffic. Not too tough from the black tees, but definitely a nice challenge.
Must not like walkers!
Won't be playing here again on the weekends!
Great course to walk, but what do they do?
Charge same price to ride or walk on weekends.
I know that they are hurting for $$$$ but that's just wrong!
Fun course
Starts out super tough first two holes so you better be warmed up before teeing off. A good course, great staff
Nice
Well laid out, cart path follows the course well if you haven’t played there before - my first time. Greens quite fast, but tracked well. Decent sand in the traps. Grounds team does a good job. No complaints, will play again
picturesque and playable.
Don't let the name "Bridges" deter your play here. The course is very playable with well placed bunkers and water. Tee boxes offer all levels of play. Beautiful and well laid out course tucked away but easy to get to. Would recommend playing here.
