About
Formerly known as Poplar Creek Country Club, the club was transformed into the Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in 2011. Besides just the name change, the design itself was dramatically reinvented. Fifteen holes were completely redesigned but the golf course's most memorable holes were left untouched. Bunkers and fairways were reconfigured and fescue was planted to provide more depth and definition. To make the course even more challenging, new lakes were also added. The golf course is definitely a shot maker's layout that rewards accuracy and thoughtful strategizing. The final three holes are considered by many locals to be the toughest finishing trio in all of Illinois. It begins with an uphill par 4, followed by the longest par-3 and par-4 holes respectively. The Bridges of Poplar Creek C.C. offers a round that will challenge even the most avid golfers.

My only complaint. Tee boxes are trashed. And I'm not talking about just the divots. The big problem was I could not get an even lie on any of the tee boxes. They've become settled (arched) and uneven.
Pace of play. It was on a Saturday. I expected the slow round.
Other than that. I love that you have to think about what club to play. And what type of shot to play. And the rest of the course was in great shape.
Great layout and value but have a ranger.
Played on Sunday afternoon after 3 pm. Pace started off great but quickly ran into a 5 some ( even three in one cart and all adults) on Hole 4 which we sat behind the hole round. Would not let us play thru as we watched them hit multiple balls off the tee and then go look for all. Would have been great to see a ranger.
Have not played the course since the renovation and the changes are great. Yes, there is a lot of water but it is fair. Great condition and a super value. But have a ranger on the weekend to move play and to prohibit 5 somes and driving range mentality of thinking hitting multiple balls is okay.
Great golf course
The course was well maintained. There are many holes with water but it plays great. I recommend it highly.
Fun Course!
Had a great time even if my game was off. Fairways and greens were in great condition. Restrooms were open. Beverage cart was running. Looking forward to playing there again.

On a beautiful June day when such a day is needed, the icing on the cake the was the unbelievable experience my buddy and I had here! From the amazing associates who offered outstanding hospitality to the great conditions on the course!!...Can’t wait to be back!

Got paired with three guys and they were awesome. It is a blast to meet new people which made the course and golf more enjoyable.
