Fun track that will make you think. Fairways were nice and the greens rolled true. It can play short so I suggest playing from their blacks (most courses blues) It's forgiving, so go for it and score well.

Used to really enjoy this course, but maybe they are short on funding. There is NO sand in the traps and they are impossible to play properly. The greens were awful with lots of browning and patches where they tried to splice in new grass. The carts are annoying and restrictive - I don't need my golf cart telling me what to do all day long. Lastly, waited on every tee box for multiple groups in front on a Thursday AM. Found nearby Fox Run and Hilldale to be in better playing shape and both are cheaper.

Sunday was extremely windy. Outside of the weather, I had an overall good experience. Greens had quite a few remnants from the trees, but hard to avoid considering the amount of wind. Couple of areas areas under repair, but nothing that really came into play. Overall friendly staff, timely drink and snack cart, and good pace of play. Carts and GPS were useful. Good amount of water hazards on the front 9, back 9 is fairly open.

This was the first really nice Friday this year. Course was in good shape (some areas under renovation). The round took just under 4 hours which was really good. The course is challenging, but not overly difficult. You need to pick your spots on a few holes. Lots of water, but if you play safe, it is usually easy to avoid.

From the 5th hole on, there were 3 groups on each teebox waiting to hit. 4.5 hours for a Thursday afternoon, with LOTS of waiting involved!

80% of course is ready, time might help the rest. Redesigning so cart paths, so some construction issues come into play.

I have not played this course since they have renovated the course. The improvements were great and the course is shaping up nicely. It still needs some work - some holes were still being worked on. My biggest complaint was that their cart GPS was awful. I never had one that was that off. Every hole location was wrong - the cart said front but the pin was back etc... and yardages were off. I may try it again in the future but probably not this year.

Nice short public course. Greens are still a little beat up from winter. Good course to practice on.

The Greens were in rough shape... a lot of burn spots from the winter. Also the Beverage service was sub-par. We saw the beverage lady twice in the whole 4.5 hours. In the middle of a sunny Saturday afternoon you'd expect that they'd be making the rounds more frequently.

I've played here a few times the last couple years. It has always been in very good condition. A very well maintained course.
There is a reason they put "bridges" in the name. I carry a 12 handicap. I find it to be a challenge, and fun to play.

First two holes start off with a lot of water but really great design. Lots of water overall challenging but a great course. Beautifully maintained and very up to date on technology. Pro shop is extremely well maintained. Staff and maintenance are really friendly. Can't wait to play this course a lot this summer.

Nice golfing. Lots of opportunities to lose balls. Challenging, and beautiful.

Front 9 holes were great - back nine pace slowed up a bit but still finished in 4 hours. Saw some rangers on the course to keep everyone moving.

The course was in good condition even though the greens were ridiculously fast and pin placements were tough. It is a fun layout and is pretty challenging the starter was unfriendly and acted as if he was doing us a favor by letting us pay to play his course. We were told there would be no beverage cart that day and we were to stock up on beverages if we wanted anything. It is beyond me why courses don't want to provide this even on the slower days. It seems like a money maker as well as just making the players happy. There's some extra money we would have spent. The halfway food stand staff was terribly grumpy and I felt bad to bother her with ordering anything. Apparently she doesn't sell alcohol except for beer? Not sure how that works.
It seems that this put-out attitude is not unique to this course. A lot of courses I play seem to have this unfriendly indignant attitude that is really a turn off. Is it so hard to have a smile or at least act like we're not imposing?

After not playing here for years, we were pleasantly surprised about all the improvements made. Great layout and condition even at this time of the year. The carts were super nice and the gps was great. Looking forward to playing here again.

Short,tight course with plenty of sand and water.Fairly flat.Can be walked.Not very scenic due to homes and buildings surrounding the course.Course was in excellent condition.Gps on the carts gives yardage to the pin.

Personally I didn't like the layout of this course at all. I was only able to hit driver on 2 hples . if u r a short hitter it might be OK but I had to lay up my first shot on over half the course or I'd be in a hazard. In turn it played much longer than the posted yardage.

Bridges of Poplar Creek is scenically a beautiful course. Lots of birds and other creatures.

As for the course, it's always well kept and the staff is friendly. I'm an average golfer so I like this course b/c it's fairly flat and there are a few long holes.

I try to play this course whenever I see a special.

Staff is friendly. It would have been nice to have some rangers on the course to keep the pace moving.
