Highland Woods Golf Course

I have played at lot of different golf courses. I found this golf course much better than others specially in the Chicago area. Its lay out is very nice and challenging. Fairways and greens are well-maintained. There are lot of trees but fairways are very wide. There are no houses around it. I would like to play here again and again, .

Much nicer than your standard forest preserve course, moderately difficult on a few holes but for the most part very wide open. Fairways in really nice condition and greens were also very clean, but perhaps somewhat spongy/slow. Overall a great experience and would definitely play here again.

I'm a senior and enjoyed this course. Fair, reasonable length well maintained. Greens rolled true.

The best part about the round was that the course is beautiful and in great condition.

Got to the course an hour early, hit a little over half a bucket and then went to putt. Bought some balls and headed ten minutes early to the first tee. The starter asked me if I had just walked on. Not what my tee time was or not what my name was. First words out of his mouth was “did you just walk on here?” I said no politely gave him my name and my tee time, which if he looked down at his tee sheet he would have easily found. I played the tips and made birdie on the first hole. Shouldn’t have to deal with that and I’m certain the only reason he did that was because I’m black. Unfortunately I’m not surprised but at a public course where I’m a paying customer I shouldn’t have to deal with his ignorance especially when everyone else I spoke with in the pro shop where I bought, range balls, balls for my round, drinks and snacks at the turn were pleasant.

I played here first time with my fried and we enjoyed very much. I would like to recomend to come here and enjoy
