Highland Woods Golf Course

I was way early before my T time by mistake. I explained to the starter and hooked up with other 3 in no time. Very nice and enjoyed golfing and finished the round at sunset.thanks

Fairways and greems were in great condition, no leaves to deal with. Windy but sunny. Always fun and challenging layout.

I played Highland Woods for the first time in years. The course was in great condition overall from tees to greens. They have really improved the course over the years. The service was top notch and the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend playing Highland Woods.

Course is long and challenging. Even this late of the season, the course was very well maintained. Brought my wife here to play her first 18 holes and enjoyed it very much. Continue to keep up the good work.

Even in 40 MPH gusts the course was fun to play, th sand traps, which caught quite a few balls with all the longer shots needed to reach the green were in great shape, much improved sand the work on the course and investment really showed. Green were rolling much faster than preious years when we have played here. We will play here more often

I’ve played this course many times. I always enjoy playing here. Doesn’t feel like a forest preserve course. My only suggestion is that this course needs a ranger. There are a lot of regulars that play very slow. Had a twosome in front of my threesome that held us up all day. A ranger could have resolved all of this. But the course layout is no walk over. A lot of dog legs, have to be accurate or your looking at bogie or worse. Tee boxes in fair shape, greens are good but a lot of geese crap on fairways. Suggestion, a bell or something on the 18th hole. Blind tee shot to group ahead, hard to see when they have moved on. Otherwise I will return again. One of my favorite courses to play.

Highland woods is in very good shape . Greens fast and true now that they have aerated the greens cut and rolled. very challenging greens and good fairways. Wish they could have greens like this all year long.

Golf cart that we were using had problems with acceleration. Group of 6 in front of us played very slow and had to wait at each hole and group behind us played very quickly so we end up teeing at the same time. Was only able to play front 9 because of daylight. Wish there was a way to play back nine.

Course was in great shape. Greens has been aerated about 3 weeks ago but have recovered and were excellent. Greens were running fast, really killer pin placements today. Fairways and rough were also excellent. Played early and round took 4 1/2 hours. Normal for this course.
