Really enjoyed the course playing this week. Course is in good condition considering the drought we're in. Staff was nice and pace was quick. Will be back again soon.
Great shape
Just got lucky I think, two tee times in front of us didn’t show, with a 2 some we burned through 18 in less then 2 hours and 45 mins
Great course for the money
This course is nice and open. Not a lot of places where you can lose a ball. The traps are placed well and add a level of difficulty to each hole. Not a lot of water... Greens were well kept however, the traps were not consistent. Some were soft while others were like concrete. All in all, this is a nice, easy course to have some fun on.
Five hour round
The course itself is fine and the staff is very friendly. No rangers on the course so make sure you have five hours if you want to play here. I won't be back.
Some advice to those unfamiliar with golf etiquette. Try to keep pace with the group in front of you. If you have people waiting for you on every shot, it's best not to spend five minutes per hole looking for your ball. If you're that bad, buy a bucket of used ones and don't worry so much if you lose it. Also, try to walk with a purpose. Pretending to be a pga tour pro reading the greens is extremely rude to the people behind you. Take a look and hit it. We get that you want to break 120 but it'll happen another day.

Good course to walk
Only complaint was a 5+ hour round. That was mainly due to the group ahead of us though. No rangers so early in the year. Wide fairways and very few blind shots. Greens were okay for this time of year but that was expected. It's a surprisingly nice course for a forest preserve property. Kind of pricey for walking though.
