Great greens!
Greens in excellent shape. Staff was great.
Slow play on the back nine. Played on 4th of July, so speed of play pretty much par for the day. Great value.
Will be back to play soon.

Very nice Forest Preserve course. Maintain well with all the golf traffic .

Could use some help on the cart paths. Staff is very nice. Greens, tee boxes in nice shape. Layout is cool. Just have to put a few bucks in freshening up some rough area’s.

Beware if you play early
When we arrived we were told no motorized carts on the back 9 and had to walk. I’m fine walking when you plan for it.
Maintenance staff was rude. Cutting greens while we were waiting to tee off. Saw we were there and would not move to the side to let us play on. Waited 10min for them to move as we did not want to hit them.
After our approach shot on 18, staff relocated the hold with balls on the green. He said he was in a hurry and had to leave. He could have atleast waited for us to out out before relocating the hold to the other side of the geeen.
Staff needs an understanding of how to work around golfers that are actively playing the course. Won’t go back.

Wrong forecast
I had an early tee time, but by the end of the 18 holes, I found out the temperature was in the upper 90s. The course was in excellent condition. I always enjoy Highland Woods. I only wish I lived closer to the course.
