About
The 27-hole course at Schaumburg Golf Club is divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations that range from just over 6,000 yards to 6,700 yards. The Tournament, Baer, and Players Courses all provide a unique set of challenges but they share the same great conditions on their tees, greens, and fairways. Schaumburg has been host to numerous events since opening in 1928, including the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments. It is a popular course since the club offers country club amenities and quality with the affordability of a public golf course. Schaumburg's Players/Baer combination starts out with a few tricky carries over water on the front nine and a more forgiving back nine. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout the course, however.

Beautiful fairways. Fine sanded bunkers. GPS cart. Variety of holes with 27 total.
Only minor issue is course layout is quite confusing.
Very Nice course
Wet areas due to all night rain. course drained well
Course was in pretty good shape, but pace of play was absolutely horrible - over 5 hours. I understand that weekends typically means longer rounds, but there needs to at least be ranger trying to enforce pace of play.
Public country club
The only municipal course with the quality of a country club.
Always a great time at Schaumburg Golf Club
Schaumburg Golf has always been one of the best courses in the northwest suburbs. The course itself has a great layout, the condition of the course is excellent, well maintained. Staff is friendly & professional. Highly recommend playing this course over and over.
Hot deal winning
What a great course, well maintained, beautifully landscaped and they have excellent GPS carts, walkable too if it wasnt 96 out. Played tournament/Baer combo. Greens rolled true. Should have played tips as it was a tad short for a 4 handicap but who doesn’t need and ego round every now and then Friendly staff even after hosting a huge tourney.
I’d recommend as it’s very enjoyable
