About
The 27-hole course at Schaumburg Golf Club is divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations that range from just over 6,000 yards to 6,700 yards. The Tournament, Baer, and Players Courses all provide a unique set of challenges but they share the same great conditions on their tees, greens, and fairways. Schaumburg has been host to numerous events since opening in 1928, including the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments. It is a popular course since the club offers country club amenities and quality with the affordability of a public golf course. Schaumburg's Players/Baer combination starts out with a few tricky carries over water on the front nine and a more forgiving back nine. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout the course, however.

Really Nice Place
Played Schaumburg many times over the past decade and things continue to improve here. Recent course improvements are all grown in and bunker upgrades are fantastic. Got around in 4hrs on a perfect golf day Friday afternoon. Great restaurant and patio too.
Great course!
Course was in pristine condition from the tee boxes to fairways, bunkers to greens, everything was in excellent shape. It’s a fun layout with a good amount of variation between holes. Clubhouse is nice with a patio to grab a drink or bite to eat after your round. It’s my second time golfing here and I will definitely be back for more.
Best greens aroujd
I absolutely love your golf course. The groundskeeper crew here deserves a whole bunch of bragging rights to the best greens around.
I've played a lot of golf courses, your layout is beautiful given the amount of land you have and the pure conditions on top of that really make your course one of the greats.
Love playing Schaumburg and always will if the conditions stay as perfect as they've been the last few seasons!!

If you like a variety of holes with nice sand and fast greens this is a good place to visit! Very friendly staff too
Odd configuration
It's an ok course. Conditions are decent and it's not super difficult. But the layout of the 27 hole course is a bit odd. It's a bit confusing and many of the fairways are too close together making it a bit dangerous. Be ready to hear a lot of "FOUUUUUUUURRRRR".
Played The Players 9. A little shot… only 6,350 from tips. But course in good condition. Fast greens
Great Community Course
One of the best community 18-hole courses in the Chicagoland area. Between price, upkeep and challenge, I haven’t found anything better.
Schaumburg Golf
Great/fun layout and challenging at the same time which is great. Course really tests your precision shot making ability. Only downfall for me that day was getting paired with a couple of guys that took their sweet time with their shots and we never really caught up with the pace. Felt bad for the groups behind us that had to wait on every tee box on the back 9.
One of the toughest days to play. It was very windy. We only played nine on the Baer course. The greens were really fast. I had about a 12 footer on the eighth green. I knew it was going to break right. I started the put to my left, barely touching it. The wind got a hold of it and it eventually rolled of the green about 30 yards!
