Annbriar Golf Course

The greens roll like a green should and hold a ball if hit correctly. Just a true test!

The course was in great shape and the course layout is awesome. However, the course did not have drinking water on the course and did not have beverage carts going around course. Very disappointed

The worst part of this outing was pace of play. We teed off early afternoon as a foursome. The course proceeded to allow two twosomes to tee off behind us followed by four singles. All wanted to play through and we accommodated the first four requests, but this poor management by the starter tested our patience. Instead of a four hour round, this round turned into a 4.5+ hour disaster. I expect better from Annbriar if they want to remain a top flight course in the St. Louis area. Hope they improve this area by pairing players in the future.

Overall, this course was in good condition. The price of $70 is outstanding for the layout and condition of the course The greens had no issues except they were on the slow side. If you want quicker and better greens, play the newly opened Crystal Highlands in Festus, MO,

The bunkers were outstanding. Overall the tees were in good shape,, except for the crabgrass on tee #1 and the back edges of the 13th tee which were burned out. I saw no issues with the fairways.

Pace of play was really good until the 15th hole. All staff at Annbriar are always friendly.

On hole 13, my playing partner hit the fairway and had no shot to the pin because of this large tree on the left side of the green. He tried to go over it but there was no way to accomplish this.

Annbrair uses the the small flag on the flagstick to indicate the pin positions. These are very hard to see and the one on hole 14 said it was a back pin but it was a front pin.

Course was awesome! I’m from out of town and heard great things about the course so I had to try it out. Definitely one of the nicest and most difficult public courses I’ve played! Highly recommend!

Always a great course, but only problem with a phenomenal course is SLOOOOW MOTION Play!! 4 1/2 hours for a Wednesday afternoon stinks! New carts showed up while we played so this will be a huge plus next time.

Enjoyed the front nine a bit more than the challenging back nine! This was our first time and wasn’t expecting the breath taking hills!

There's really nothing much to say that hasn't already been said about Annbriar- simply the best public access course in greater St. Louis area. Absolute must play for serious golfers from the Blues and Tips. Tee to greens, management pretty much keeps this course pristine year in and year out. For 2021 the main critique would easily be the fleet of golf carts, as the brakes on them are clearly worn out and are a hassle to inject the brakes to park the carts. A new fleet of leased or purchased golfcarts would easily bring the Annbriar experience to 10/10 perfection. Adding GPS systems to a fleet of new golfcarts would be sublime golfing nirvana at Annbriar. They care and take great pride in their property- it shows, and it's the reason we all eagerly come back. Never been? Try it..... you'll be hooked like the rest of us.

Once again, Annbriar did not fail to disappoint. Great layout in awesome condition. One of the best public course in Saint Louis area. Highly recommended.

Annbriar is in pristine condition. The pace of play was a little too slow, but the beverage cart girl made enough passes to keep us hydrated. Looking forward to the next round!

This is a very nice course in excellent playing condition. If you have trouble hitting it straight you will struggle and should consider playing another course. Pace of play was slow and the absence of a Marshal helping things along is the worst thing about Annbriar. I have played here before and experienced extremely slow play then, too.

Course got backed up on the back 9 because of slow play in front of us - that was the only bad thing about the otherwise enjoyable round. Will definitely e back soon.

Annbriar just puts one in a great state of mind. We play in the Sun nite couples league and it’s lots of fun. Food is great the steak sand is a must.

It’s been a longtime since we played there. Usually a little pricey. Found a good price on Golf Now. Used some certificates. Really nice. Signage is a little confusing. But was a perfect day 80 degree in August.

I will play this course every time I come back to St. Louis.
