About
Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo is one of the top 10 golf courses in Illinois. The course was built on rolling farmland covered with native wild grasses. The layout eases you into the challenges with a links-style front nine that is less demanding than the back nine. The fairways are invitingly wide but if you miss them, you'll be faced with thick fescue. The back nine takes advantage of the surprisingly undulating terrain, which is unexpected since just across the river the land is almost totally flat. Annbriar's signature hole, the par-4 11th, was voted the best hole in the St. Louis area. From an elevated tee, golfers enjoy a stunning view as they play down into a valley. This hole is also the no. 1 handicap hole on Annbriar Golf Course.

Slow slow I skip holes. 11-13 22 people on those 3 holes tee off 14 never saw anybody rest of round needed to have a Marshall moving people along wish guys would play right tee
Cart path only
I had a good day at Annbriar , but it would be nice if you knew ahead of time that the course is on Cart path only ,there ae many holes here that you have to walk a long way from the cart path either down a hill or then back up.

I have played top courses all over the country! This is a must play...
This course is extremely well maintained. Is located just outside the small town of Waterloo Il. They moved a lot of dirt to make this course. Very much a links course on the front nine. They hide the fact that it is in the middle of a corn field by having super tall mounds all around it on the front. The back is spectacular and is cut out of the woods with extreme elevation changes.
As I said in the title I have played may top course. Including Pebble beach, Riviera, Shadow Creek, Bellerive, and others. This is a course you will remember! Difficult from the back boxes black, Blue is fair, white is playable for most average golfers. The course is fun yet challenging but very beautiful!
One of the Best
Annbriar remains probably the best public course in the St. Louis area. Challenging, friendly, and always in great shape.

This is definitely one of my favorite courses in STL area. Within top 3 courses open to public in my list. Wish it was little closer to me.

I would say beat course in the area. Great condition and it is a beautiful setting. Staff is friendly. This course should be on your bucket list
