Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo is one of the top 10 golf courses in Illinois. The course was built on rolling farmland covered with native wild grasses. The layout eases you into the challenges with a links-style front nine that is less demanding than the back nine. The fairways are invitingly wide but if you miss them, you'll be faced with thick fescue. The back nine takes advantage of the surprisingly undulating terrain, which is unexpected since just across the river the land is almost totally flat. Annbriar's signature hole, the par-4 11th, was voted the best hole in the St. Louis area. From an elevated tee, golfers enjoy a stunning view as they play down into a valley. This hole is also the no. 1 handicap hole on Annbriar Golf Course.

It is always a treat to play Annbriar. Everyone is friendly and you feel so welcome here. The coures has wonderful design and is always in good shape.

They have renovated the restrooms that were getting outdated. The new renovations look great.

Great Course, Great Rate

Annbrair is the best course in the metro St. Louis area. With a senior rate in the low 40's - you can beat this. The course has great design and playable for all handicaps.

We have had a warm February-March and the dormant zoysia grass has a tint of green to it already.

They will probably aerate the greens after the Women's Missouri Valley Conference Golf Championships, which are being head at Annbrair for the second straight year. April 14-16, 2024.

Pretty sloppy conditions following overnight thunderstorms.

Not the course’s fault at all but the fairways were very, very wet after overnight storms. Made play pretty messy. Also, there was no on course Marshall and we got stuck behind a very slow foursome and twosome. We waited on most tees and there was no one behind us. Our round took almost 5 hours and lost of the time my partner and I play in 3 1/2 or less.
