About
Cantigny Golf boasts 27 holes of scenic and challenging golf. The holes are divided into three nines that are named after the features of the landscape: Lakeside, Hillside, and Woodside. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Hillside/Woodside course features plenty of elevation changes as well as an abundance of hardwoods, mature oaks, and ash trees. More than 100,000 flowers provide a colorful accent to the golf course. Strategically placed bunkers border the undulating greens and there are also a few water hazards coming into play. All three courses provide a challenging round but they are playable for a range of skill levels. It is an excellent place for tournaments. In the past it has been host to the US Amateur Public Links and numerous USGA qualifiers. It is also a good place for juniors with a golf academy and a nine-hole youth links golf course.

Excellent as ways
Cantigny has a beautiful clurse great layout mice staff allways fun to play
Very wet conditions following a stormy am. Course does not drain well. Pace very slow. Hard to get into any kind of rhythm.
Beautiful course
This course is top notch. Challenging and fun. And the guys that put your golf clubs into the carts are quite handsome. Eye candy ;-)
Nice Place
Played on a Sunday afternoon with some friends. The practice facilities are great. The people working at the course are really pleasant. The course conditions were great, except for a few bunkers with just dirt in the bottoms. Greens rolled nice. It's a wonderful course layout, built so that you're not seeing too many other players out there on other holes. But the pace of play was the biggest downfall. A 5:15 pace in carts is unacceptable in my opinion.
Top 5 IL public course
Easily a top 5 public IL course. You could make an argument it’s the best, but you can’t argue it’s outside the top 5.
The grounds are magnificent, the practice area is amazing, the course is too fun! It’s
Ranger was obnoxious,
We were told to speed up 3 times when the cart said we were within 3 minutes of our split time. When we got to the turn he told us we need to speed through the bathroom and we didn’t have time to get a refreshment. Never saw him again after that and we waited on every hole in the back nine. Ruined the course experience for us.

Public course that plays like a country club
Amazing course, great amenities, great practice facility, even the availability of caddies, make this as close to a country club is you’re going to get. However, the food was mediocre and the drinks were very small. For golf experience you can’t beat it.
Exceptional experience even in the rain
One of the best courses in the state of IL. Love love the layout, staff, conditions and challenging holes. Consider my home course. Don’t miss the chance to play this gem
