A decent course for the money. It’s 96 years old. I can’t wait to play it on its 100th year.

I had a nice time with friends and family.

I recommend Randolf Scott’s creation.

A short quirky course, good sight lines, good green complexes. Worth the money. Will play again.

Though the course may be enticing price-wise, the conditions not so much. The greens are the best part while the fairways leave much to be desired, and the cartpaths are absolutely horrible, broken up and very narrow in many downhill areas. Pro shop staff is very friendly and the snack bar is well worth a visit, but maintenance on the course should be a key issue!

I've played the course a few times and always walk away disappointed. It is close by so I always try it out every so often. The layout is great, but the tees boxes and fairways are not good. Plan for a 5 - 5 1/2, round because the pace of play is pretty bad. Staff is friendly and food options are good.

The course was good and well kept. Issue first thing in the morning was with personnel. Trying to charge us a no show fee for us using the golf now app for the first time ever even though our group was there. Then saying its the most busy day of the year and we'll slow pace of play with 5. The 5 of us was slowed down by the 3 some that was in front of us. Just baloney the crap they said. Course great personnel (front dest) bad.

This course is fun to play but the fairways are not good on some holes. The greens are all good though. There is a premium on course management rather than distance.

This was my first time playing this course and I was extremely surprised on how nice the layout was. I understand why some players might give it a low rating due to the conditions of the homes and some course offerings, but overall I found CV to be really enjoyable. I am definitely coming back to play again. Big shoutout to the greenskeepers - all the greens were in excellent condition.

Haven't played here for over a year and decided to take advantage of an online special. They appear to be making improvements... greens were good, fairways were cut, rough was not too "rough". Need to improve on keeping restrooms cleaned and stocked inside, and check on the outhouses on the course.......they are disgusting.

First time here at CV, loved it, will def be back! The first thing that I want to mention is the staff. Wow! Lauren you are amazing! You made us feel welcomed and special, especially for our first time visit.

The whole staff was super friendly, from the management, kitchen staff, to the groundskeepers, everyone was lovely.

The course itself was very well maintained, a few hiccups here and there but that’s part of the game.

Collectively we had a great round, we enjoyed the layout and the challenges throughout the course.

Thank you again for the wonderful first time experience.
