It has been a long time since my last play at this course but I was lucky to pair up with a local. This is a really good OLD course that could use a little attention/love on some of the holes but otherwise, big fun. the rough areas of the course can be very penal. Its not groomed rough, its rough rough! Lots of standing mosquito water where there used to be ponds or lakes. All the bunkers were overgrown and marked under repair!? Guess they cant afford sand! Still had fun though. Wouldn't pay more than $25 to play it.

I was looking for a new course to play and found this place not to far from home. The tee boxes are under repair so some of them were a little rough. Most of the fairways were in good condition but there were a few that had lots of holes that balls settle into, had some issues with over watering in spots. Greens were in great condition and not easy to read, good challenge. I was kind of disappointed that the bunkers are being changed into grass hazards. Lots of elevation changes for tee boxes to greens. This is not a walking course in my opinion. All around nice place and I can't wait to go back.

It's annoying they don't allow you to drive the golf cart to your car.

The amount you pay for this course is not that expensive, nor is it entirely cheep, so you think that it might be a dull, boring and otherwise unchallenging course -but it is not. I believe that with the exception of two holes (16 n 17) every hole has a noticeable elevation change. There are many tricky holes, and although this is my regular golf course, I usually pay worse here than I do at other courses in the area.
My main points of contentions; dirt & gravel. I want my regular, "cheeper" golf course to have nice green fairways, so that I may be well perpaired when I spend too much money on a hoity toity course.
Hills that ARE green; 1, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15 & 18.

Greens are in good shape. Everything else needs work. All bunkers were "under construction" (aka full of weeds). They just bought new golf carts so that was nice. Played because it was close to work and wanted to get a round in for cheap.

A warm humid golf day, good thing I was in a cart. Ended up with a couple guys in the Men's Club, which was nice. I'd join if I didn't live so far away. It was a good price for the course and it's conditions. I'll be back.

It's a decent golf course, but was better back in the day. I know there is a drought in California, which is probably why they have a lot less water hazards than before. Dried up ponds, and a sand trap that had a little sign saying it was under repair. For how long though. It had mature weeds inside it. You better not have to use the outhouse on the 5th hole. I've never seen a toilet so unmaintained. A oooh the smell. Other than the above mentioned issues, it is a fun course to play.

very intersting golf couse. 100years ago no burdzer time of couse is solp and green very defrent.

Firstly, the course is only a mile away from where I live, so that's a plus. Next, the course layout is very nice, beginner friendly but with challenging holes as well. The price is very reasonable. You get a great deal for the price. Will definitely play here again!

have not golfed at Cresta Verde for sometime, due to poorer than average conditions. the staff has made significant efforts to improve the course. From the tee-boxes to fairways there were obvious improvements. The greens were probably in the best condition I have seen. Overall had a great time.

It was horrible! Bad customer service, dry choppy greens, crab grass fairways and fringes, and the range was in poor shape and had no yardage posted. I wouldn't play here again if it was free.

Bunkers are under re- construction. Great greens and fabulous views. Fairways are in good condition. They had a water main break. caused the condition of the fairways, but expected to improve shortly.

Will definitely be back. Priced right for what it offers. Lots of potential. Staff reason enough to return.

Not in the greatest of shape, but a three and a half hour round for $30 on a Saturday is a wonderful experience!

THE GREEN IS WELL MAINTAIN, BUT THE FAIRWAY IS NOT WELL MAINTAINED, IT'S HARD TO HIT FROM THE DIRT.
