Paradise Valley Golf Course
About
Paradise Valley Golf Course was voted the top course in Solano County and it is considered one of the best values in the North Bay area. Mature oaks line the fairways and meandering creeks wander across the course, coming into play on nine holes. It is a good course for walkers but it is still quite a challenge from the back tees. Club selection and ball placement are equally important. Paradise Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 10th. It requires a trio of accurate shots beginning with a well placed tee shot just short of the lake that sets you up for the second shot. You will have to make it past a ravine and a massive oak tree in order to make it to the green, which is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.

Best Shape
Haven't played since early this year but the course is in great shape. Probably the best in Bay Area.
Great, but slow!
This is a really nice course! It was in very good shape with fast true greens - considering they were recently aerated. Only complaint is that we started at 1:05 and could not finish by 5:30... dark, at this time of year. I can see why it is so popular but it was a little too crowded even though it was a weekday.
Round on a Halloween Saturday
Great course, Great weather....
teed off at 12:08 ......skipped 5 holes on the back.... and still took over 4.5 hours.......
brutal pace of play... Marshall was out there.. but did nothing to speed things up..... It actually got worse after he told us he was going to speed things up..so that was kind of funny...
If you want to play a round on a weekend at Paradise.. be prepared for a long day...
Fun place to play.
Player friendly course. Some large fairways to improve your average. Good place to smoke a cigar, drink beer and play some golf with your buddies.
Nice ride made better by a round of golf
Played Paradise Valley for the second time in as many months. It is a bit of a drive for me, and not the least expensive option for me as well, but not a bad value if you get a Golf Now deal. That being said, I really like this course, it is in great shape and plays very fair. There are no real "hidden" dangers on the course, everything is right in front of you. Greens are in good condition, and bunkers have actual sand in them. Played behind a tournament, who must not have had people who knew to fix divots and rake bunkers, but I won't blame the course for that. Play here if you get a chance, you will like it a lot!
Beautiful course
An unfriendly with the staffs at the pro shop. With a little confusion on which carts to take and which tee to tee off from. The fairways were a little too wet. The pace was a little slow.
Challenging layout
It was worth the price as the course was in very good condition.
Paradise Valley golf is paradise
The overall condition of the course was great, enlight of water shortage. The course is not showing any signs of thirst, great buy for the money !
Same Paradise Valley Is Good
This course is not hurting from the drought. Plenty of green grass and good greens. Sand in bunkers is good too. Always like teeing it up here, par 5 are good; you can get on hole one in two, the rest are a challenge to reach in two. PV has not changed much in years other than the housing development, so expect what you always expected. A good solid track that is fun everytime.
I won't return
I had a 6:40 tee time and when I arrived at the course at 6:15 my son in law and I were told we could not play because they had a tournament scheduled and we were out of luck.I drove 45 min from Sacramento and my son in law drove 20 min from Benicia and the staff at the course could have cared less. Golf Now charged me a reservation fee and I had a conformation number but the staff at Paradise Valley said to bad it was not there problem.
P Valley golf palooza
Arrived a little late but staff was very accommodating. Course was in great shape even with drought in California.
Excellent!
i chose this course to play because of the reviews and price even though it was quite a ways (over an hour drive). It did not disappoint. Overall--Challenging but fair. Greens rolled true but was difficult due to undulations and muti-levels. Just make sure the putter is hot and you will cut many strokes off your score. Pace of play was great as well but then again teeing off at or before 7 am gives that advantage. I will definitely come back.
A Slolw Play
A nice course. A nice day but hot. A pair of beginners, I believe, in front of us, a foursome, spoiled our day. We had to wait for them (2) on almost every hole. The marshal finally came to hole 14 and warned us to stay on the car path but not under a tree (to avoid the heat).
Ha!! Ha!! Ha!! but it was not funny.
Marshall
the group in front of us went out 10 minutes late so in turn we all went out 10 minutes late. The Marshall came up at the 7th hole and said we were 15 minutes behind and asked us to pick up the Marshall than shows up on the 9th hole and watched us the whole time. I hit in the bunker and hit it out he then he rushed me and said he would rake the bunker for me I understand the pace of play but when we go out late we will be running late no matter what we kept with the group in front of us so we couldn't speed up endless we hit into them. A bad experience. I have played here multiple times it is one of my favorite courses but this was Not cool I payed just like the people in front of me and behind me.. My review is for the Marshall not the course
Paradise at Paradise Valley
Booking an early tee time here is like playing at a private course. No rush, no delays... just hit and walk... hit and walk.
The staff is personable, the restaurant has a good variety of great food, and the course conditions are always good - kudos to the course maintenance staff.
The quality of this course rivals that of some of the more expensive courses in the area. A good value for a great experience.
slow play
play is always slow marshall needs to speed it up a bit
Good times with good friends
It had been 15 yrs since played here last; brought back some fun memories. Booked myself & 3 buddies a 4 some on Golfnow so got a good rate. Tee'd off a little after 12noon & It was hot out there(upper 80's) but plenty of well grown trees to keep the carts in the shade. Course & greens in good shape considering the drought situation; pace of play a bit slow but all in all,
"I have to say, today was a good day"
FANTASTC FAIRWAYS!!
The fairways and greens were awesome!! Imagine, having a golf course, all to yourself. Well, it was 97 degrees, not a breeze, and no one behind us, nor in front of us for several holes. It was indeed, the most relaxing round of golf, we ever experienced, on a Friday....Put this course on your " to do list""
Played 36!
Course was in great shape. We love this place. Staff is friendly, facilities are are great. Especially scenic in long shadows (early morning or late afternoon).
We're a group of long-time friends from El Dorado Hills and San Jose. This is a perfect halfway point. We meet here 2-3 times a year, and always have a great time.
Quenching the thirst
Paradise Valley Quenched the Thrist. There is enough character to keep you entertained.
