Paradise Valley Golf Course
About
Paradise Valley Golf Course was voted the top course in Solano County and it is considered one of the best values in the North Bay area. Mature oaks line the fairways and meandering creeks wander across the course, coming into play on nine holes. It is a good course for walkers but it is still quite a challenge from the back tees. Club selection and ball placement are equally important. Paradise Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 10th. It requires a trio of accurate shots beginning with a well placed tee shot just short of the lake that sets you up for the second shot. You will have to make it past a ravine and a massive oak tree in order to make it to the green, which is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.

Great course
Has it challenges but the course was in great shape
A pleasant surprise
After Silverado screwed up our t-time, we were scrambling around trying to find another course and were lucky enough to find this gem. Well-maintained and with a very friendly and efficient staff.
Tee shots aren't too tough, but the fun really starts on and around the greens. They are faster that they look and have tons of contour.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone visiting the area.
Wonderful in every way!
I hav played here many times, just now getting around to reviewing it. I love this course, the people the work here, the lunch after the round, everything. You owe it to yourself to play Paradise Valley GC.
Good day for the 1st time playing
Was a beautiful course and somewhat challenging. Loved the layout and the challenge. Will be back to play again.
Had a great time
It's was challenging and fun, the greens roll fast, but for a $35 rround it was epic!! Thank you for the experience, the staff was super friendly too!!!
Why did I wait so long
I haven't played this track in about 15 years. I used to love it and then I moved. Apart from a couple of birdies I didn't play well, but it was a reminder of why I used to love this course so much. Well maintained greens and fairways even the bunker sand is perfect.
Love the trees
Very good conditions. Will play again
Play it soon...
...because it's in really good shape now. The layout is really good as the holes are pretty spread apart. I thought the variety of holes was excellent. Both long and not as long par 3s and 4s. Greens were among the fastest I've played and all rolled well.
I suspect this course gets lots of play and will take a beating. I was surprised they didn't have divot seed/sand on the carts so players could put seed on the fairway when needed.
I would encourage the course to put a sign up to fix marks on the greens. I fixed a few extra myself, but that's just me.
Go out and play it. It is really fun.
Paradise with no Wind
Great time at Paradise Valley and got extremely lucky to play with minimal winds. That never happens in Fairfield. Course in terrific shape, and got to play with one of the Assistant Pros - Sam, Nice guy.. Had the California Burger with Housemade Chips after the round. Yum!
Paradise Valley
Great local course. As a single I was paired with 3 others and were the first ones off the tee. I was ready 10 minutes early but started made me wait even though nobody was in front of us. I could have played in less than 3 hrs vs 4 1/2 as a four dome
play smart and course will reward you
Variety of challenges on diffferent holes required attention to club election, and strategy. Fairways and greens were in good condition, and forgiving of less than perfect play. We played the White tees ( I am a 20 hcp) and had to use every club in the bag. This is not a driver/ 9 iron kind of course. So, put on your thinking cap and delight in the valley views surrounding the course.
great time
Had a great time and shot under 100. will return again .
Great setting; good challenge
I have played this course many times and it is always a good challenge. The views of the open spaces surrounding the course are beautiful. And, enjoying lunch or snacks on the patio is truly wonderful.
Quality Course in good shape
With the winter rains, Paradise Valley is in as good a shape as I have seen it the past 3 years. Fairways are green. The rough is actually rough made of grass, instead of dead patches, and the greens are rolling as true as a mid-tier public course's greens can roll.
From the whites it can mean a lot of short irons and wedges into greens, conversely the blues can push the better part of 6800yds which can be a bit much if the wind is blowing, but regardless of which of the two sets you pick, it's a fun and largely interesting course.
The greenskeeper can definitely pick some nasty pin positions when he likes, but all in all they are normally in spots that add enough interest, but don't get you cursing.
I prefer it to Rancho because it's more set up to walk.
Great fun golf course
Paradise is a fun layout and challenging if you choose the correct tees to play from. The greens and excellent and run very true. Course is very green right now, so get here before the summer water restrictions hit. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Really enjoyed the round of golf.
conditions
The course was in very good condition. greens not fast but challenging. enjoy the layout of course. played 6200 hundred tees (white) and found to be a good challenge. Would absolutely go back again even tho a little over hour drive. Price for round very reasonable!
Recovering nicely
The greens were horribly mismanaged last year so it is a pleasant surprise how will they have rebounded the spring. Fairways are immaculate for the first time in years. Amazing what a solid winters worth of rain will do.
