About
River Run Golf Club in Ocean City is just minutes away from the beach. The golf course has different front and back nines that make for an interesting round. This Gary Player design starts out across a wide-open landscape before moving on to more tree-lined terrain on the backside. The tighter back nine is tougher than the first nine but overall it's an approachable golf course. The player-friendly layout is gentle enough for beginners with medium-sized greens that aren't especially difficult and generous fairways that offer plenty of room. There is modest bunkering along the greens and fairways and a few lakes and some marshland come into play as well. While River Run Golf Club may not be the most formidable test, the course provides just enough of a challenge for scratch golfers.

Nice course, friendly staff.
Course was in very nice condition. Excellent layout. Pace of play was a little slow but to be expected on a Saturday.
Winter &wet
This course is still coming out of winter and very rainy weather. Cart path only and understandable why. Traps had water.
Did like the layout and would play again come summer to see how it is in full season.

I have played here several times, it has always been in good shape. The day was windy and overcast, but the course was well maintained. Greens a little slow but rolled well and I noticed that there were very few ball marks(don’t know if that’s because people are actually repairing them or course is doing it). Only a few holes path only and they were well marked so there were no questions on wether path only or not. All in all course was enjoyable and as an added bonus 1 of the guys I was playing with had a hole in one. Pace was quick, mainly because of very few people on course. Would play here again and recommend it to my playing partners.
Course was in great shape for being this late in the year. Greens were very slow from not being cut or rolled but otherwise in exceptionally great shape.

This was a nice course. Not as easy playing from the blues. It is very fair course.
Course in great shape
I was worried about playing this golf course after reading some negative reviews. They are definitely doing construction around the course but the course was in terrific shape. For the amount of rain we got the day before and cart path only we all enjoyed our round. Green had great speed and were very smooth. Not sure why there were so many bad reviews. I would recommend.
Nice layout
This is a very nice course once you get past the first hole that from our group should be blown up. Looking like massive construction of new houses is coming. After that first hole the holes were playable, not tricky and fun to play. Read some reviews that the conditions were not good but we didn't find that to be the case. Some par 3 tees maybe but it's the end of the season.
